We found the room did not let in enough natural sunlight the bulbs being energy saving did not light up enough. They scheduled a private party at pool side with real bad EDM with Chinese singers which only hit the high notes off tune. Made for a uncomfortable sleeping. "The experience was mediocre right from the start when the pick up wasn’t on time, then the room allotted had to be changed twice as the first room allotted was supposed to have some known pipe issues, the second room allotted was already occupied! When room service was ordered, the used soup bowl wasn’t removed for two days! Room service cleaning was requested but didn’t happen till the evening where the staff had to be reminded. "

"Our first visit to Cambodia and so impressed with the staff at Borei Angkor and the hotel in general. So friendly and helpful. Organised two days of transport and a guide for the temples which was a great experience. Food options excellent with lots of breakfast options included in the price. Nice pool area. If you want some nightlife then Pub Street takes about 20 mins to walk or 5 mins in a Tuk Tuk. Unreservedly recommended if you are visiting Siem Reap. "

"We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking.
