"Reminded me of our little guest house on our main house property. Just perfect for a short two night stay to meet up with family in the area. Sat on the back porch and talked to the deer coming to say hello. Not an issue at all with being on the same lot as owners main house. Plenty of privacy. I think the $91 fee was a bit much added on by VRBO though. "

"This place was not clean nor maintained. My grandkids feet were black from walking inside the house (right after their bath) as were others who walked around barefoot in the house. The bunk beds were not safe to sleep in; very unsteady. There was not a pull out sofa, just a sofa and no extra sheets or pillows. We had to go to Walmart and buy pillows. The thermostat downstairs did not work and it was extremely hot. The stair railing was loose and the transition board to the stairs was not firmly...

"Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at this restored farmhouse. It is clean, welcoming, and included everything that we needed. I also run a rental property so I know exactly what the house should and shouldn’t have and I was impressed. The host is very responsive and friendly. We knew that the lake had been drained so we enjoyed the view and peaceful setting. We would recommend it for sure!"

"The house is very nice and spacious. We had a large group of friends and family coming from all over Texas and the hosts were very accommodating to our needs/requests such as allowing adjustments to our check in/check out times as well as an additional unexpected pet that had to come along. The only improvements I would suggest to help future guests is more accessible outlets in the casita and lighting for the steps going down to the dock. Enjoyed our stay! "

"Stayed in this house for my son’s college graduation. The house was clean, spacious enough to host a dinner for family and friends, had plenty of parking and the location was awesome! Will stay again if we are ever back that way but goodbye for now San Marcos! "

"Our family had a wonderful time ! We love the pool area. We brought our tv to watch football under the tent by the pool . We had lots of room to mingle with 32 of us ! We loved the fire pits ! The grounds keeper stop by to take our trash out daily ! He was amazing!! We had everything we needed ! Love the out door lights. It was great having coffee On the porches.. "

"Property was as advertised. Location was perfect. Easy to find.our only complaint was the floors.there was a greasy film from the cleaning product that was so slick i almost fell several times.we bought a mop to go over it definitely wouldnt walk on without shoes.we also could have used a few more things to help tocook with.cookingthkitchen.shoes"
