"A beautiful villa in wonderful surroundings, well equipped and spacious. Dante and Rosa were wonderful hosts, providing us with home made cake, biscuits, bread etc and were extremely helpful. The National Park was a delight and we spent interesting days in Porto, Braga, Montalegre and Guimaraes, as well as swimming in the river and the pool. "Once inside the gate it is remarkable how spacious the grounds of this property are. The photographs are accurate but do not convey the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in extensive grounds which you are welcome to explore. The pool is large, clean and a lovely temperature. The House Martins, Wagtails, small owls and Hoopoes come to visit the gardens filled with agapanthus. The owners house is to the side but not intrusive.
