"Port Orford is a beautiful, laid back and quiet town on the south coast. It is a wonderful destination, however, it is recommended you seek alternative vacation rental property. My family and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday here (booked in June). Prior to our arrival the owner inquired if we would be cooking Thanksgiving dinner at the house so they could make sure everything we needed was ready. "We had a fantastic stay. This property is close enough to town, to go do all the touristy coastal town activities, but far enough away to completly disconnect, relax, and recharge. It was a perfect mix of both for or group. The home has beautiful appliances, floors, countertops, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Our boys loved having "kid camp" in the A-frame. It was a great weekend and we look forward to returning when the weather is warmer to use all the lake toys."
