Hotel location was ideal for tourist. It is close to historical places. The staff, Chelsea was very eccommodating and friendly. The AC was not sufficient to make the room cold enough during summer's hot temperature. Nevertheless, our stay was still good.

Island View Lodge is in a great location and the staff friendly. The place is clean but needs some maintenance. Everything works fine and it is exactly as advertised. The kitchenette was useful and the refrigerator a decent size.

I would stay rhete again. The location was what we wanted. It was a good value which sold us. There were problems with too much light coming in from the outside lights. We MacGivered the blinds to block out much of the light. The older gentleman that was chain smoking in the corner of the hallway was annoying, but only because our room was in the far corner Chessica at reception was very pleasant

The room was relatively clean, could use a dusting, lots of old cobwebs in corners, and when moving a chair dirt and dead bugs on the floor and in corners, but it provided a cheap place to spend a night, check in was easy, and front desk was friendly.
