"My husband and I visited friends up north for 5 days and we stayed in the Scottish Inns in Potsdam for 4 nights. The motel room was spotless; which we really appreciated. The owners were lovely, and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. There is an amazing gift store directly across the street to browse. "

"Last night of a 3000 mile trip home from winter in Arizona. Cute, clean, very quiet. We were happy to support a local business. We had traveled 6 days and this was our 7th night.. the chain hotels in the area were clise to $200/night with taxes and fees. Price was fair here and the stay was wonderful!"

"This was our family’s first exploration of the Potsdam area. Beth’s Place had great access to the four colleges in the area (all of which we visited), the locks at Massena, and a wonderful hike in Colton. So much to see in the area! The weather didn’t cooperate for us to kayak in April, but the views on the river were exquisite, especially from our private hot tub. The hot tub was one of the draws to this property & the perfect temperature was a great ending to our busy days.Beth’s Place is definitely on our list for our next trip to the area. "

"This family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the St. Regis river which you can hear throughout the cabin. There are lovely hiking trails around the property (I believe about 4 miles of trails). The cabin is cozy and warm. The weather for our stay was a bit too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch but I imagine in warmer weather it would be a lovely place to sit. There is no TV (the Wifi works great) so bring a book or game. The kitchen is well appointed and great for making a meal. The description of the property/cabin is accurate; I highly recommend this off the grid cabin as an excellent place to getaway! "
