"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

De plus l'accueil d'Ikbal a été chaleureux avec des boissons fraiches et quelques pâtisseries du pays. Une aide nous a également été fournie pour organiser des sorties et des excursions. "Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. "

"The house had been empty for a long duration throughout Covid. This meant that some of the equipment wasn't in great shape when we arrived eg. We had no hot water for over 11 days. The owners tried their best to fix it themselves, but had to concede defeat and call in a plumber. The house, and it's facilities need updating and renovating eg. Sitting room furniture is very outdated, the downstairs shower cubicle needs replacing/ renovating, the masonry around the swimming pool needs renovating,...

"We were a big group of family, visiting our home country and this house was perfect for us, we were 15 ppl including a teenager, a 6 years old and a 2 years old and we stayed for almost a month. As described there is 2 levels with each level having 3 on-suite, a full kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine and dryer. We really enjoyed the layout of this entire villa as we all had our own space and didn't get annoyed by each other by the end of the trip. Wifi was great the entire time....

"Filthy place. Not half what is advertised. Dirt pool, dirty fridge. No free wifi no free cable tv, not even a bed sheet to cover during the night. 2 towels for 4, of which one scratched. Safety concerns with broken elec near the pool. Room not ready on arrival, breakfast not ready the next day (very basic) birds eating the pervious day leftovers in the restaurant kitchen, not clean either."
