"Herman the owner was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and was really understanding of his guests. Lovely pools here too and the central courtyard allows meeting of other guests which is nice on holiday"

"This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. I have a kitchen, big fridge, balcony to hang clothes, closet to keep my stuff, a safe and much more. Would highly recommend. "

"Great location, spacious apartment, lovely terrace by the sea, kitchen was adequately equipped but a sponge and washing up liquid would help. The bed was a bit hard. Internet was not working on the first day but they fixed the router the following day."

"Lift wasn’t working for 3 days of our stay. The bathroom sink was not cleaned as is was mouldy. Reasonable location as you can walk to the beach."

"I would not recommend anyone because the room Hibiscus No 15 and 11 were terrible poorly maintained there were lizards everywhere and mosquitoes. We asked for a mosquito diffuser and the receptionist told us they would send one which was in vain as nobody came along. The bedsheet was torn very old and most of all we all didn’t sleep as the bed was not comfortable one could feel the wire spring on our back. One advice I would give all those booking in this place to check the room before they...

"Nice apartment for the price. Ashvin and his wife are very pleasant people. The lady housekeeper was very nice also. Walkable to the big mall and food court and walkable to the beach and bus line to other beaches. All in all a very enjoyable stay."

"Ok place . Reception were a little marked if you asked for anything and the pool silly bracelet thing became annoying as there was only 5 people there but otherwise really nice "

"Great property at a good location! Big apartment that was clean and well taken care of with access to shared pool and lounge facilities, along with private entry into the ocean. Staff were very helpful when needed. Wi-Fi was not the strongest if more than 1-2 people using it. Overall would recommend and would come back!"

"The apartment is not part of Ocean Villas Hotel and is owned by someone else. On arrival we found our apartment by speaking to the reception at Ocean Villas as there was no one to great us and advise us how payment was to be made. The key was left outside our apartment. We were informed that the owner would contact us and that we would pay the owner. After 5pm on our last evening there the owner sent his cleaning lady to collect money from us. "Bon Azur Beachfront Suites & Penthouses by LOV This place is amazing!!! We were in Mauritius on business and decided to spend half of the trip in an apartment and half in a 5 star hotel. This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! Value for money is good A few remarks despite (1) NOT a Kids-friendly place (the pool is too deep, no sidewalks anywhere around) (2) The area is dead, there is no chance to walk anywhere (3) NO AirCon in the appt (only in the bedroom) (4) we had mould in 1 bathroom, unacceptable "

"A little slice of heaven. From entering to checking out the Lux goes beyond. Its incredibly clean, staff welcoming and attentive. The little touches really made our stay perfect. The rooms are so spacious, beds soft yet supportive. Daily cleaning and turn down service was always perfect. The options for food were excellent. For the 6 nights we were there the buffet was always different, the al a carte options also really varied and the skill of the chefs was amazing. We were blown away by the patisserie options and high quality food. Particular mention to Sharon and her skills with chocolate! The weather wasnt always on ourside during our stay so the current was a bit strong to swim for us but we were just unlucky due to the weather. But the beach is clean, plenty of sun loungers,and you can walk several km down to see even more views. Concerige is excellent and helped us book beginners horse riding on the beach which was loved. We would not hesitate to return! No negatives at all!! "

"We had two days before our cruise left and I wanted to see Mauritius. SALT of Palmar fit the bill. The price was reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to sustainability. Further, the attention to service and detail was impressive. the employees we so beautiful and calm and perfectly reset out 20 plus hours of stressful flying and prepared us for a more relaxing vacation!"

"This property is located in a beautiful beachfront neighborhood of the Island. I traveled solo and felt extremely safe. Security guards were surrounded the area 24/7. I was welcomed by a gorgeous and well spoken front desk staff named Fatima. Fortunately, she gave me the best room facing the ocean and it has a balcony. The air conditioning worked perfectly and I had breakfast delivered to my room daily. I highly recommended this property if you ever decided to visit the island of Mauritius. A shoutout to Vrishna for helping me with everything I needed. "
