"The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again."

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"Got there early but was still allowed to check in and go to my room. The guest house was close to the sea and was easy to find. The parking was fine although you pay for the day and night extra. "The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "
