Location is great for the view & main town is not too far, but need to climb heaps of stairs to get there from hotel & difficult to get parking close to the main centre. "

"I could not more highly recommend this villa. It was absolutely spectacular. The grounds are incredible and the town is amazing. Paola was such a great host. She met us at the village and helped us up the hill to get to the Villa. Do not make the mistake we made and bring too many things. we way over packed and should’ve left things back in Florence and come packed much more lightly. This is a great destination to take the boat ride to Cinque Terre. I found Portovenere to be much more charming than the five towns. there are many spectacular restaurants so many I would’ve liked to had a chance to try, but we were only there two nights. we were touring the Vatican today in Rome and saw one of the ancient maps from the 1600s and actually saw our castle listed on it!"

"What an amazing little hotel!! Views, service, lovely room and bathroom, comfortable beds, clean, incredible breakfast!! We will be back or to their sister hotel next door the Belvedere. These are well run and we can’t say enough good things !! "

"We stayed at this boutique hotel for 2 nights and absolutely would return. It is in a great location, the staff is very friendly, and they offer a light continental breakfast that is included. It is steps away from dining and the boat ferry. It was a great day to jump on the ferry to montorosso to do some exploring and work our way back via the ferry to other stops along the way. The scenery of this region is spectacular. Great hiking opportunities as well. "

"Beautiful property with great views in a quiet neighborhood. Easy distance from the train station to access Cinque Terre without having to navigate the crowds and narrow roads. Hosts Greta and Mirca were very responsive and helpful. They also gave great recommendations. Would recommend to other travelers wanting to explore the area. "
