"We stayed at this boutique hotel for 2 nights and absolutely would return. It is in a great location, the staff is very friendly, and they offer a light continental breakfast that is included. It is steps away from dining and the boat ferry. It was a great day to jump on the ferry to montorosso to do some exploring and work our way back via the ferry to other stops along the way. The scenery of this region is spectacular. Great hiking opportunities as well. "

"Most of the other reviews have commented on the wonderful views from the property and, in particular the balcony, all of which I would echo. There are some additional things about staying here that I think are useful to know. The apartment is at the top of a long hill. The walk down to the town is very pleasant with lovely views down to the sea. The walk back, less so, particularly on a hot day. However, this can be avoided. There is an excellent bus service running every half hour from the town to La Spezia with a stop just beyond the apartment. So for 1.50 Euro you can avoid the sweat. In the summer, this is enhanced by a shuttle bus which runs even more frequently. While cooking facilities are limited in the small kitchen, the local Conad store carries a wide range of products so it's quite easy to create something tasty even within the kitchen's limitations."
