It was a short walk - 10-15mins - to both beaches, albeit the walks were a little difficult for my parents due to the stairs. Cala Mendia itself is a very quiet resort but it had enough restaurants for our needs. I would recommend the local shops for essentials only as they are very expensive. We took the bus to Porto Cristo and did our shopping there. A taxi was about 10-15euros back. Overall we had...

"La maison est très bien placée pour rayonner dans l’île à la journée et de belles plages à proximité! Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison. Le jardin est très appréciable avec sa douche extérieure en plus des 2 autres douches. intérieures. A conseiller sans réserve!"

"First class all round and very generous host let us check in early on the day of arrival and check out a bit later on the day of departure to accommodate us which made such a lot of difference. Property in great condition, great location we will definitely be back."

"Fantastic property with everything you could need for a perfect stay. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Close to beaches, supermarket, bars and restaurants, but nice and quiet too. Astrid was very helpful when our transfers didn’t show up, helping us to contact trusted taxi services and get us both to and from the resort. Stopped this from spoiling our holiday and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a wonderful holiday!"

"The host / property manager was always very helpful, kind and highly flexible in any question. After a storm he immediately managed to start repairs in the house. Also helped us in various issues (like printing tickets etc). We were all very satisfied also with the house and equipment and with the location as well. The description of the property is correct; the house keeper was always to be reached without any delay."

"The villa is located in a private and quiet area close to great beaches. Ingrid left us some treats from her bakery which were delicious. It has an awesome pool and we used the brick BBQ several times. Recommended"

"Can’t recommend this home enough. Perfectly situated in Cala Figuera. The home was an ideal location for our multi generational family trip. The apartment downstairs was perfect for older folks. Georgi, the host, was phenomenal and always helpful and gracious. Go to Mallorca and stay at this location. "

"Das Ferienhaus hat wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, einen tollen Ausblick und auch sonst ist alles wie beschrieben. Das Haus besteht aus 2 seperaten Wohnungen, unten ist ein Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Schlafsofa, Küche und ein Badezimmer. Oben das gleiche nur mit 2 Schlafzimmern und großer Terrasse mit Gasgrill. Die Wohnungen sind sauber und gut eingerichtet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen."

"We had a perfect 10 day break at Villa Sylvia. Location is spot on, 5 minutes walk to the Marina, a little further one way to cala egos, 20 minutes walk in the other direction to cala dor. And 5 minutes car journey into Porto Petro. The pool suited our teenage boys great. It’s huge! With a large private garden. The villa itself has been modernised to a lovely standard. All bedrooms were a generous size and air conditioning worked great. Raquel the owner / host was very good and contactable...

"A wonderful villa, good remote location for peace and quiet, and local town only 2 km away for all your shopping needs!! Villa was well equipped, great layout and fantastic air conditioning!! Pool was great and wonderful outside area providing plenty of shade for those hot days!! Would definitely come here again!"

"Ein tolles Haus mit Pool in ruhiger Lage. Leider sind die Bäder nicht akzeptabel. Hier sollte mal renoviert werden… Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Den defekten Fernseher hat sie direkt ausgetauscht. Top. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und der direkte Kontakt zur Eigentümerin hat uns gefallen. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen, wenn die Küche und die Bäder renoviert sind. War ein toller Urlaub👍 Trotz meiner Kritikpunkte zu empfehlen"

"Das Haus und Grundstück war super schön und mit Liebe gepflegt. Die Lage in Cala Murada war perfekt, 5-10 min zu Fuß zum Strand, die Busverbindung ist auch top, wenn man kein Auto hat. Die Kommunikation mit Jordi war sehr unkompliziert und zuvorkommend, wir durften sogar früher einchecken und später auschecken. Liebend gerne komme ich hier wieder! Es war ein toller Aufenthalt!"

"Have stayed at Niu D'Aus before but not for about 9 years. Staff extremely helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Pool very clean but not really suitable for poor swimmers as becomes quite deep very quickly. Good location in a very quiet area. "

"Overall love this property. It is clean, it is in the town so you can walk to the nearby restaurants. The property itself is diverse and offers multiple pools along with other activities such as ping pong, etc. The one (and very large) downside is the parking situation which is why I could not give a 5 star rating. "What an incredibly beautiful hotel!! The staff would go above and beyond. The hotel room was stunning and smelt amazing… in fact the entire hotel smells amazing! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast buffet had great options and you could order eggs and crepes too. We had a lovely long weekend and can’t wait to return again sometime. "

Monsuau Cala D'Or Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

"A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area. "

"I had such an amazing stay here! The room was super nice and clean and the view from our balcony was AMAZING! Breakfast and dinner was included in our room which made it super convenient and there were multiple bars and restaurants on the property. The beach is also right there so you don’t even need to go anywhere to enjoy a nice day! I will definitely be staying here again!"
