Located on a quiet street in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, yet 5min walk to NW 23rd, and Washington Park Free Shuttle bus stop & Park entrance is only 2 minutes walk where you will find the famous Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Oregon zoo, Children’s museum and Hoyt Arboretum. https://explorewashingtonpark.org/free-shuttle/

You do not need a car to see Portland if you are staying at our apartment, but if it is necessary for you to bring a vehicle, on street visitor PARKING PERMIT is provided upon request for each night of your stay (Limit One per group, please give us 48 hours to validate it). *Vehicle license REGISTRATION NUMBER is required.

From where we are, you can catch a game at Providence Park stadium within a short walk, and trendy Pearl district or downtown Portland that are all within walking distance. You can also check out Live concerts in Washington Park in summer.

Closest Max light rail station is 7min walk, Goose Hollow/ SW Jefferson, or Providence Park station, It takes you directly to the Portland International Airport.

When you are done exploring all the nearby sights. You will relax in your 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment with your own entrance through the garage that is street level. Please note there is NO kitchen but cafes, bakeries, restaurants, delis and grocery stores are only a short walk from here. There is a mini refrigerator and freezer to store all the goodies you purchase. A microwave is available in your living room as well as a coffee maker, a variable temperature hot water kettle, plates, cups and silverware. We provide local tea and coffee.

In your bedroom, there is a comfortable queen sized platform bed, a coffee table and chairs. In your living room, you will find a futon couch where you can enjoy reading or lounging. There is also streaming TV in the bedroom and Free WiFi high-speed internet as well as some books and games for your stay.

Children over the age of 7 are welcome but, please contact us if the total number of people is more than two so we can ensure your stay is comfortable and confirm that we can accommodate.

The place and neighborhood are beautiful! Had an amazing time with my young daughter and enjoyed being so close to Washington Park and the playground. The Host was wonderful and very communicative, highly recommended.

Amazing location for a quick stop in Portland. Right next to Washington Park with its phenomenal Japanese Garden, rose garden, arboretum, etc. Walking distance to everything I needed. The host responded instantly to all my questions. Highly recommended.

Peaceful welcome
Every morning I could walk into Washington Park—the lovely Japanese Garden is an easy walk from this charming place to stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and storage everywhere. I would love to stay here again!

Great Goose Hollow

Great location
Apartment was comfortable, had everything we needed. In a good location for walking. However, weather was not good while we were there but took Uber for the first time and was easy, and got to visit most of the places that were on our list.

Tranquil Oasis

Miyoko was very kind and accommodating. The rental is in a great location in Goose Hollow, very accessible to shops, restaurants, markets, and Washington Park. Exploring by bicycle was a breeze. We are repeat visitors and will happily stay again!

Great location, cozy & clean apartment, and phenomenal host!
This apartment is in a great location right around the corner from Washington Park, close to lots of great food, and within walking distance of shops and breweries. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Miyoko is a fantastic host! She was super helpful and friendly. She even came out to say hi to us. If I'm in Portland again, I will definitely stay here!

Perfect spot near Downtown PDX!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miyoko’s residence. She was extremely nice and welcoming! The space itself was perfect and included all necessary amenities for a wonderful weekend getaway. Her residence is in the beautiful King’s Hill neighborhood - close to Downtown (10-15 minute walk). Next time we visit PDX, we’ll definitely be looking to stay at Miyoko’s residence again. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfection Attained at "House of Ardmore"
Goose Hollow, "House of Ardmore", was absolutely immaculate inside and is very conveniently located next to Washington Park, a travel destination in itself. If you like walking on hills, this is your place. Miyoko, the hostess, bent over backwards to make my stay as pleasant as possible. One or two people can comfortably reside in the apartment (VRBO) which is located in a safe and very quiet neighborhood.

Just perfect!
Miyoko is a wonderful host. The house was immaculate and very well outfitted for our needs. Exactly as advertised. The bed was quite comfortable. You would never know we were in a big city but it was convenient to walk or take mass transit. There's a gourmet grocery store just down the hill. We will be back to stay again.
