"Porta de Castro was a wonderful stay. The only thing is if you want quiet, the street it is located on is busy and quite a bit of honking. Didn’t bother me, popped in some ear buds at night. The breakfast and staff were amazing!!! I felt very welcomed and the staff helped me with any questions, plus lots of suggestions on what to do in the areas. Very convenient to walk to almost any place, including the train station. "

"Fantastic boutique hotel/BB. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the welcome was great. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. We were overlooking the street below, with a cute balcony. Noise levels were fine, even with live music and a vibrant nightlife on the doorstep (just make sure you close the door properly!) We'll be back to Palermo, and we'll be back to Boutique B&B Vintage too! "

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. "After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....
