"Beautiful sunset views from almost every room. Great bathrooms, good mattresses, pillows and bedding. However, the house needs a little TLC/updating. We still had a great stay and it was ideal for 4 mature ladies to get away for a long weekend of R&R"

"Perfectly located cottage close to the harbour in St Ives. Restaurants, galleries, shops and beaches all an easy walk away. The cottage was clean and comfortable although perhaps a little chilly in January. It is also not designed for large people as the shower is tiny and the ceilings are low in places. A useful addition would be reading lamps in the main bedroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay in beautiful St Ives"

"We loved our trip to St Ives. The cottage was great for us, as a family of 3. I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. We dound the knives in the kitchen very blunt, which did make cooking a bit difficult, but that was our only minor complaint. Lisa was on hand with support when needed, which was...

"Herbert Cottage is right in the middle of everything Newlyn, an active yet picturesque fishing village with great restaurants & cafe has to offer. Just a short stroll to Penzance &short car rides to all the lhighlights it’s really well situated. Although centrally located it’s peaceful & quiet with everything you could want. Lenn was a great host"

They did a very good job under the circumstances. The rest is just tragic. The unit is run down, grubby and uncomfortable. Downstairs the kitchen units are about to collapse. "Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
