"We wanted somewhere quiet, secluded and far away from reality, this hit the spot perfectly! We weren't far from Llanberis where we had some great food and went on a beautiful walk to the castle. The cottage was well equipped and gave us the chance to feel properly nestled in the mountain. "We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. The garden is lovely on a sunny day, and Sally the host was very approachable and helpful. Also, the pizza place 300m away...

"We had a cosy time in this cottage, which was good as the weather was pretty rubbish. We couldn't enjoy the lovely views until late each day as we were envelopped in thick fog. However, it was a perfect hideaway and we enjoyed the log fire. Plenty of exploring in the area but you need a sturdy car to get about!"

"Really lovely cottage in a great location. Pub just down the road is fantastic, lovely food and warm welcome. Walk to Beddgelert great, lots of walks on the doorstep. Only thing to mention is that parking is not on site- it’s on the road outside. We only struggled for a space once as it’s a quiet enough road. Would definitely return. "
