"We arrived at 2:40 pm. There were about 3-4 cars in the parking lot. The lobby and inn looked like empty. The guy at the front desk informed that check in is at 3:00 pm and if we want to check in they charge $20 for early check in haha. $20 for 20 minutes with no one around. It’s not like they would have to get the rooms ready. Then he gave us a room that had the door broke. The cabin was clean and the hosts provided lots of little extras (shampoo, bar soap, coffee pods). It is not a "luxury" feel....but everything is well maintained and very clean. "Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. "Took my small work team up for our planning sesh and we hunkered down at the cozy Trolls Den and got ‘er done. It was priced great and gave us all we needed. The host staff even shoveled the snow off our porch and under our car!! The greater Beachwalk community is beautiful and idyllic with the fresh snow and bright colored homes - we even bundled up and took a walk down to Lake Michigan and through neighborhood. #greatteammemories!!! "
