"Once again my husband and I stayed at Anchorage 1770 for the Beaufort air show. What a lovely, unique place to stay. From check in to departure, everything was wonderful. The rooms are special and unique. The bed was super comfortable and the upgraded bathroom was perfect. We enjoyed all the thoughtful touches that the owners manage to provide. Breakfast was delicious - compliments to the Chef!"

Cozy, Coastal Retreat! Minutes from Parris Island!

Just like home

"Our stay was the best air b&b experience I have had I think in ever it was like I left home and went home. My family and I went down for my daughter’s graduation from the marines in Paris Island so if you are looking to book for that reason this property is very close and very spacious for a two bedroom. The instructions were very clear I had no issues getting in the house smelled great when you walk in very very clean and well stocked. Things that I thought that I would need to bring “already there” like tissue, paper towels, cleaning supplies, air freshener, trash bags literally everything. Everything worked “WIFI JUMPING” beautiful quiet street Literally no noise. I believe this neighborhood is filled with retired people just riding around on their golf carts enjoying the weather. One house down they have a trail that you can walk and see different types of birds and animals alligators turtles just amazing to see and people are there just to take pictures, Ahh it was great. My kid locked us out incidentally and I was able to get the host on the phone and get right in, in a matter of minutes. If I could rate this property higher it would be a ten star for me we had a great time and was very comfortable thank you so much."

Waterfront Getaway in Port Royal's Historic Old Village

A Great Getaway to Remember!

"Susan's "Waterway Getaway" was everything we expected and more! The house is flooded with natural light, but the bedrooms have black out shades for sleeping in or taking an afternoon nap. We found this feature very considerate and a rare find in rentals. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and furnishings are tasteful, comfortable with lots of very cool original art decorating the walls. The outdoor deck was perfect for evening meals and there's lots of green lawn around the property, a very tranquil setting. Of course, the marsh and water views are phenomenal! So many birds: song birds, wading birds and we actually saw two bald eagles fly overhead late one afternoon. Best of all, this little gem is pet friendly, so your furry child is always welcome. Many thanks to Susan, the very personable and accommodating hostess, for making this getaway one to remember — we'll be back!"
