"This place was really cute, loved the retro style and location was super convenient. The mattress was pretty firm downstairs but suited us fine. I would imagine the upstairs mattress being a little bit rougher to sleep on. The grocery store, beach, and a few stores/restaurants are within walking distance. My only complaint is for the price, a 10 am check out time is a bit rough. That aside, it was sweet to find a spot that was dog friendly, and we had a great time checking out the local beaches....

"Loved this place! So quirky but charming. The Loft was very cool (I should call it ‘the library’ because there are even more books up there than downstairs! Kitchen well appointed. Heater works great. Only negatives were that refrigerator runs off & on, and at night it sounds like it’s powering up. I had to close the hall door to the living room so I wouldn’t have to hear it. And the other thing was the bed, it’s horrible. It is way too soft and unsupportive, it feels like you’re laying on foam...

"Upon arrival in Port Orford, we quickly realized this house was exactly where we would want to be for our stay. The views of the port were spectacular and unobstructed. The house was clean and spacious, bedding was comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped - easily accommodating large family meals. For meals out, we enjoyed casual fare (burgers, prawn basket, etc.) at the Dive Grub Pub and elegant dinners (martinis, steak, cod, etc.) at Redfish. Both offered something for everyone,...
