Villa 1,150 per week, Villa/van/driver 2150.00 per week

Our Jamaican villa rental is privately nestled on a tropical hillside between Ocho Rios & Port Maria, Jamaica. This spacious villa boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and Blue Mountains. A van and driver are available for tours & airport transfers. Driving in Jamaica can be quite challenging and stressful and the owner offers a package deal of villa/van/driver for rent for $2150.00 per week. (No insurance cost , no liability for any damages, includes ONE airport pickup & ONE airport departure, includes experienced driver knowledgeable of Jamaica.) RENTER PAYS FOR FUEL.

Over the 20+ years I have owned the villa, NO ONE has ever said they wished they would not have rented the van/driver. The price is VERY reasonable, probably not any more than just for a van rental without a driver. At the end of your stay, Michael, Charmaine & Tashae will be your friends.

Typically guests go into Port Maria on the first morning to buy groceries and change money. Michael will drive & our manager, Tashae rides along to help you change money at Western Union & help purchase groceries. You can use a credit card at the grocery store, but during your daily travels you will need Jamaican money to spend. You will have a safe in your room to store your valuables.

We also have a COOK AVAILABLE for a small fee. You can plan your meals with her once you arrive & pay her directly. It works out nice for the guests to have her cook some of the evening meals. You can be out all day exploring the island and have a nice meal ready for you when you arrive back at the villa. It's only $20 USD for her to prepare, serve & clean up for each group meal. You pay for the groceries.

You are minutes away from some of Jamaica's finest beaches and exciting nightlife of Ocho Rios. Dunn's River Falls, Rio Grande Rafting, Blue Mountain Biking, Blue Lagoon, Black Sand Beach, Boston Bay and Port Antonio are just some of our guests favorite places to see and experience. As you look out to the endless wonder of the Caribbean Sea, you are awed by this exotic and soothing paradise.

Nice
Enjoyed our visit their in Jamaica. The house has a great view and quiet. The house manager and driver (Tashae and Michael) are very nice and helpful. A small ac in the bedrooms would be nice. Suggestion to future renters, is to go to Ochos Rios for your groceries not the local supermarket. Me and my family had a great time!.

A picture is worth a thousand words but On Top of World Villa will leave you speechless
While it is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, the picturesque views from The On Top of the World Villa will leave you speechless . . . The best part is that’s only the beginning! As you ascend the rolling hills of the property and are met by a beautifully manicured and artistically designed landscape, that provides the perfect preview of what is be expected from the villa itself. Before you can even experience the full delights of the house, you are greeted by the warm and friendly villa host (Tashae) who from the moment you arrive until the second you depart does an absolutely phenomenal job of making you feel less like a guest and more like family, without her energy the experience would not be the same at all. She is truly an asset. And then the Villa... the perfect mesh of home and holiday! Super comfy beds, lots of closet space, adequate temperature and insect control accommodations, extremely clean kitchen and bathrooms, and just the right amount of sunlight peeking into the windows each morning as it rises. If you’re one who enjoys rising with the sun you’ll find company in the songs of the roosters who erase any need for an alarm clock! After settling in and deciding on your meal schedule I recommend that you speak with Tashae and Charmaine and let their culinary expertise guide you as you go into town and source the ingredients for what will surely be some of the best food you’ve ever had in your life. It’s a good thing there is not need for socks in the villa because one taste of Charmaine’s food would surly blow them away! Sugar, spice and everything nice, if Charmaine is cooking you’re covered. Whether you’ve got a detailed itinerary or you’re just winging it,Michael will make sure you get there safely and that you’re properly prepared for your destination. An individual truly committed to the service of his duty there is no reasonable request that Michael will not intended to fulfill. The members of the On Top Of The World Villa staff and the surrounding elements and people of the community will make your Paradise experience even more heavenly! No matter how you feel upon arriving to the villa, while you’re there (and for a few days after you leave) you will know what it feels like to be at peace, and to enjoy the view as you sit on top of the world. Suggestions: Just some basic cosmetic updates throughout the house: wall cracks, master suite veranda& suggestions about local attractions & back room wifi would be nice

Amazing hidden gem
I found this location in the VRBO website and after comparing with a couple others, decided on this location. It maybe a little difficult to find on the first try, but it was easy after that. The view is to literally die for! The area is pretty quiet and tranquil and also close to a few attractions. I will definitely be going back! Oh yeah Tashae is great. Always available to help or if you just have questions ☺️

Amazing true Jamaica experience
Wow! What an incredible experience and a very solid value. Was really not sure what to expect when traveling to Jamaica and I was a bit apprehensive about traveling there based on some media reports about crime, but we decided to be "adventurous." I am so glad we did. This home has 4 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths and fit our 5 adults & 2 children incredibly comfortably. The views are breathtaking from the home. The home is probably about 10-15 minutes from town along a mountain road (which is a bit rough) that provides isolation from the business of the town. The option exists to hire a driver for the week and that was absolutely the right call. The driver was exceptional and friendly and was an incredible addition to our family for the week. There is a on-site house hostess (she has separate living quarters) who makes sure the house is well kept and maintained. And then the options exists (that we took advantage of) to have a cook prepare your meals. There is no A/C, which at first we thought would be problematic, but we fairly quickly adjusted and enjoyed the fresh air that usually was reasonably pleasant. So, every day we woke up to birds chirping, fresh mountain air and breathtaking views. We would then go out for the day with our driver to whatever adventure we had planned and then return to the home to an amazing freshly prepared Jamaican meal hot and ready to serve. How can you beat that?!?!? This was my 3rd time in Jamaica ... 1st time for a day on a cruise ship, 2nd time for 3 days at and all inclusive resort and then this time for a full week. With our meals prepared, an immaculately kept house and a private driver we enjoyed a true Jamaican experience at an incredible value. This made for one heck of an amazing trip with memories that will last a lifetime. I can without hesitation recommend this property. Keith & team ... thank you for such a wonderful vacation! We are truly grateful!

Villa on the top of the world, Port Maria, Jamaika
We ( a family with two adult sons ) visited Jamaika for two weeks in March 2018. We booked the Villa for the whole stay together with the Manager, the cook and the driver. The view to the sea is indescribably beautiful, the villa with 4 bedrooms is very large and comfortable. The garden is big and very beautiful. The cook Charmaine made every evening a delicious Jamaikan dinner, the driver Michael drove save and responsible and the manager Tashae is a lovely and helpful person! We have had a lot of fun with them . The guests of the villa definitely need a car, the road from Port Maria to the Villa is bad and it takes up to 20 minutes for the drive. The road has also some traffic at night which you can hear in the master bedroom. The nearest beach is the James Bond Beach with a 25 minutes drive, we liked it to go there, cheap ( 5 $ per person ) and clean with bar and food. All together the Villa top of the world is a place where the visitors can relax, enjoy the nature and let spoil from the excellent stuff.

Beat all our expectations!
Our family of four adults just got back from our first Jamaica trip. We stayed at the villa the week of Christmas. Before the trip, I was a little apprehensive about the location of the villa . We had included the van and driver with our rental and it was the best decision we made. It made a huge difference and it made our trip very enjoyable . I strongly recommend this option to anyone renting the villa . Lawrence our driver was very friendly, helpful and truly amazing. He helped us plan our daily sightseeing, made sure we were safe at all times and was with us the whole time taking good care of us. We cannot thank him enough for making our trip very memorable. Ocho Rios and all the main attractions are about 45 minutes drive from the villa. The villa itself is charming and the pictures do not do it justice. It sits on top of a hill with a panoramic view of the surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. We were out on the veranda most mornings, sipping our coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. A couple of suggestions that would make the stay even better would be to provide extra blankets, bed linen and towels and include small soaps/ shampoos for initial use. On the whole this villa beat our expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the real Jamaica!

Family vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at On Top of the World Villa. Additionally we were so happy that we decided to include the van/driver in our stay as that was one less thing to worry about. Lawrence, our driver, was very knowledgeable of the north coast attractions. His advice and help with dealing with the markets and places to eat was invaluable. We ALWAYS felt safe with him. Tashae, the villa manager was fantastic! We all agreed to officially make her a part of our family after the first day of our stay! She went well above and beyond our expectations everyday. We were sad to leave her at the end our vacation. The accommodations were clean & quiet, in a peaceful neighborhood. Excellent housekeeping and cook. The accommodations were great as we were very comfortable and it was the perfect setting for a family vacation.

My Beautiful Vacation
I enjoyed the beautiful "Top of the World Villa" with 5 other ladies. It was a most relaxing and unforgettable experience. Everyone was most helpful. CoCoT- couldn't have been more patient with all of our questions, pointing out interesting sights while safely driving us to our next adventure. It was a thrill to have a driver!! Tashae- was so helpful with suggestions, finding us information, and always charming while answering questions about Jamaica and her culture. Charmaine- her meals were excellent! The goat and shrimp were my favorite. Sitting down to a beautiful table setting each evening was a definite plus. The BEST for me was my morning coffee, sunbathing, afternoon drinks, while enjoying the spectacular view from the veranda.

MY JANUARY VACATION
The Top of the World Villa offered a fantastic view. The landscape was unforgettable. The villa was spacious and accommodating as well as the staff. The cook prepared local cuisine for us nightly. I really liked the curry chicken, it was a first for me. We even tried goat and we loved it! The staff was very helpful, we just fell in love with Tashae. CoCo T, our driver showed us the local market, infirmary, hospital and grocery store. He was most helpful with our personal requests as I wanted to visit a church and a elementary school. He was able to set a time for me to visit his daughters class room were I was able to read a story to the class. I am a retired elementary teacher from Minnesota, so visiting a class room was very important to me. We all wanted to go to church on Sunday morning and Tashae and Charmaine were nice enough to invite us to their church St. Mary's. They were very welcoming and we all had to stand when they announced the visitors from The Top of the World Villa. We had a chance to visit Margaritavilla in Ohco Rios twice and even watching the Minnesota Viking football game on their tv their. It was my first experience with foreign travel and would gladly go back. The temperature and the weather was most comfortable. I practically lived in my bathing suit. We wanted to experience eating at a nice restaurant so we went to Spring Garden in Ohco Rios. They had lobster to die for! The Luminous Lagoon Night Cruise near Montego Bay was a learning experience for us, it would be great for children. This vacation is one to be enjoyed by all.

Unique Jamaican Experience
This was my 8th time to Jamaica and 7th to On Top of the World Jamaica Villa so I thought I would finally write a review. This time began much like the rest with the driver picking us up from the airport. The transition from airport to van is easy. With some large airports the arrival area can be chaotic and overwhelming. Montego Bay airport is not that. The driver has always been waiting right as we enter the arrival area. Once in the van it is a pretty smooth ride to the Villa now that the main roadway has been fixed up. I hear its about a 2 hour drive from the airport to the Villa, but I have never made it in less than 6 hours as we always stop at the local stops along the way and I would encourage other guests to do so as well. There are many bars and places to eat along the way that give you the true spirit of Jamaica. Drinks are cheap and you can usually barter on price, paying $200JMD or less for a Red Stripe, which is just over a dollar. This is much lower price than you would get in a more touristy place like Ocho Rios. Try a "cue" of white rum if you get a chance, it has a very unique taste and the locals claim it has many medicinal properties. The safe play is Appleton Rum, which tastes like a typical spiced rum. Once at the Villa, we spend a fair amount of time just hanging out at the Villa relaxing on the veranda. The view is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The first day we go to Port Maria and do the shopping for the week. I like the experiences of the town. Its one of the many free entertainment of Jamaica. Its a pretty active and fairly small downtown area so its easy to get around. There are usually a few tricksters on the street offering you some games to play. Shell game, cards, etc. If you choose to play, keep your wager fairly low as you are going to lose. I've been to most of the attractions like Dunn's River Falls, Black Sand Beach, Boston Bay, etc. and they are all worth the visit, but mostly I just like sticking around the Port Maria area and hanging with the locals. On the days that we don't have travel plans, we usually just walk down from the villa to one of the local shops, grab a Red Stripe, play dominoes and talk with the locals. Galley's is my favorite place. If you are into the all inclusive resort thing, then this is not for you. If you like to experience the true Jamaican culture then you will be right at home On Top of the World.

A “Diamond in the Rough”
A “Diamond in the Rough” First off, there is nothing rough about this place. I had some concerns before I arrived. I had never been to Jamaica, but I have several friends who have stopped in Jamaica while traveling on a cruise ship. Their experience was they felt hassled during the short time they were on the island. They commented they would be skeptical about vacationing in Jamaica. Wow, were they wrong! Our incredible vacation started with meeting the driver, Lawrence. He was ready for us the second we arrived. We knew we were in safe hands as we got to know him on the way back to villa. The trip from the airport to the villa turned out to be a scenic drive along the north coast. We stopped several times along the way at local bars and restaurants for a cold drink and some great food. Everywhere we stopped the people were extremely welcoming, friendly, and FUN. When we arrived at the villa we were very surprised to find such a beautiful house, and BIG. The pictures do not do the property justice. But the real surprise came in the morning when we awoke to one of the best views we could have imagined. The property is high up on the hillside overlooking beautiful Cabarita Island and the town of Port Maria. You could see the small fishing boats heading out to sea each morning. It’s a surreal experience and one that will never be forgotten. We had read some reviews about mosquitos being a problem around the villa and planned accordingly by bringing repellent. I don’t think anyone even took it out of their suitcase as the bugs were never a problem. We were in Cancun in December and the mosquitos were much more of problem. I guess anytime you are in a tropical location you should expect some bugs, but it was never an issue. We visited several places like Blue Lagoon, Boston Bay, Long Bay, Bamboo Beach Club, and many of the local bars and restaurants around the villa. Lawrence was an incredible tour guide and always willing to offer suggestions and always around to make sure everyone was safe and having as much fun as possible. I have been on a many resort vacations throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, but I have never felt more immersed in the culture and welcomed by the local residents. I am a person who always prefers to vacation somewhere new each year. For the first time in my life I feel like I found the “right place”. This is a vacation you truly have to experience to understand….

Super Vacation
My vacation at Top of the World Villa was in early January. What a beautiful spot! The villa was spacious and comfortable, the veranda was heavenly and we spent a lot of our time out there. I really enjoy laying out on the veranda and listening to the Jamaician music coming from the homes below. The driver (Co Co T) was a gem. We wanted to experience the country, the people, and their culture. Co Co T made sure we saw it all. We went to a hospital, a infirmary, a school plus all the local attractions in the area.. These were places we were interested in seeing. I am also glad he did the driving!! It was my birthday while there, my friends asked the staff for some help getting a cake. They got all involved in it and wanted to surprise me. They put a sign up and set a very festive table that evening. It was a surprise along with those darn candles you can't blow out!! Sunday we wanted to go to church so Tashae and Charmaine invited us to go to their church. That was so sweet of them to do. In the evening we watched videos and played cards. I usually take my pillow with when I travel, but traveling with just a carry on it wasn't possible. I was so afraid I would end up with this soft nothing of a pillow. Well they had the most comfortable pillows. It made my days so happy!

Great Jamaician Experience
I was at "On Top of the World" Villa Jan 6th - 13th with friends. What a lovely place - The staff are very friendly, personable, and helpful. We did sight seeing in Port Maria "Tour of the Town" is what the driver, Lawrence called it, Ochi Rios - Dunns River, Martguerita Ville, Flea Market, The Glistening Waters were very cool and others. The Manager, Tashae, and the cook, Charmine, invited us to attend church with them. We were welcomed by the Pastor and the congregation. We lounged on the Veranda - played games -watched movies and relaxed in the sun enjoying the view Had a GREAT time. We read the review from the family that rented the villa the week before us and we didn't have any issues with bugs or mosquitos. I would recommend to anyone who would like the real Jamaician Experience to come to The Top of the World Villa.

4/10 Poor

Mosquitoes completely ruin everything
We are a rather well-traveled family of five, visiting different places in the world at least once, sometimes twice a year. Our overseas journeys took us to places like Australia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Peru and most of Europe. On our trips we stay away from resorts and hotels as we seek the REAL DEAL - we like to learn about places, people and their culture in their natural environment. In selecting places for our stay (where we will spend our time and hard-earned money) we rely heavily of reviews left by previous guests. It is for this reason that we feel compelled to leave this review which, by any means, should not be taken as a negative opinion about the country or the people we encountered. It is, rather, a stout warning to anyone who would like to stay at Top of the World Villa - the mosquitoes are a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM there. The house does not have air conditioning (it really doesn't need one!) and therefore all windows are open practically at all times to induce some much needed breeze. However, there is not a single screen in any of the windows. The mosquitoes are having a wild feast at the guests’ expense and there is nothing anyone can do to prevent it. They are everywhere, all the time - biting you while you sleep in the bedrooms, under the table when you eat, on the couch when you watch TV, they are also ready for you when you go to the bathroom! Without any exaggeration, each one of us would wake up with 20-30 new bites every day, just to get few more stings during the day. We felt like we came there to feed mosquitoes. It is simply unconscionable to advertise a place for vacation, fun and relaxation without providing some basic protection from natural elements. This is, after all, the 21st century and it is so easy and inexpensive to deal with such a basic problem! The tropical climate will have critters which are a nuisance to people. We are pretty sure that the owner has netting in his home in Minnesota, so why would he subject everyone else to such a torment in hot Jamaica? This experience really ruined our vacation time and overshadowed all other positive aspects of the stay - which is really too bad.... The people are sweet, food really tasty (although quite expensive) and the driver is by far the most valuable asset of this little enterprise. Sorry, but unless something is done to remedy the mosquito situation, we cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The real Jamaica
My husband and I selected On Top of the World because of the beautiful view, the location (away from tourist congestion) and the driver (didn’t feel like driving ourselves). Lawrence, our driver, is a pleasant and respectful young man. The price was very reasonable and Southwest had a great air fare from Orlando. We stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It is a very quiet area and the view did not disappoint us. It was nice to sit on the bench at the end of the day and see the coastline edges transform as the sun set behind of us. We also took a cup of coffee to the bench area early a.m. to see the sun rise……A mystical experience. The house does not have air conditioner, but our room had powerful fans and we were comfortable. Remember to take you mosquito repellent for less breeze days. We really enjoyed Charmaine cooking, but we found that for just 2 people it can be less costly eating at the local restaurant. By the time you purchase all the main ingredients plus all the necessary spices, it really adds up. But if you are not sure about the local joints and you are a family or more than two, then you are probably better off eating at home. We were a bit concerned about privacy when we found out that the property manager was on site, but Tashae was very unobtrusive. She would welcome us home and ask if we needed anything, answer our question, then she would retire to her apartment. We found her to be very helpful and we enjoyed being welcomed home. During the day we went exploring with Lawrence (the driver) who understood that we wanted to see the real Jamaica and not just the usual tourist sites. We enjoyed his company and were ready to adopt him. You have to plan a bit and discuss plans with him. I would listen to his advice, but if you are set on doing something he does not recommend, he still will comply. We went far to get the river raft experience on the Rio Grande near Port Antonio (highly recommended) Very serene and beautiful. Halfway down the river we stopped at a place, in the middle of nowhere, for cold beer. The lady there had some cooked prawns that we regret not purchasing. Truly enjoyed the place and adventure. Wish we were there now.

Felt On Top of the World at On Top of the World Villa
My recent week-long stay in February 2015 at the villa on a guys' trip was a genuine Jamaican cultural experience I truly enjoyed. Each morning from the veranda overlooking beautiful Pagee Beach, we planned our days of lounging at local bars, shopping at the markets, exploring the beaches and cities, fishing with local fishermen, and meeting and interacting with the good people of Jamaica. Our driver Lawrence was both an invaluable tour guide and resident expert on Jamaica's economy, history, language, food, and way of life. Day trips to the east found us swimming at Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay and to the west relaxing at Moxon's Beach Club and Margaritaville in Ocho Rios. The sights and sounds of real Jamaica were everywhere during these travels - the surf, a soccer game, dance party music, schoolchildren in uniforms, bustling traffic, jerk chicken and festival, Red Stripe and Appleton Rum . . . In the evenings, we retreated to the villa for sit-down meals appreciatively prepared for us by the staff of Tashae, Charmaine, and Jodi. And by nightfall, guys congregated back on the veranda to plan the next day's adventures. Thank you and hats off to On Top of the World villa for making my first trip to Jamaica and a return trip for my friends a memorable one!

A Vacation Like No Other!
I recently spent a week at On Top of the World Villa in February 2015 and can say this vacation is a vacation like no other. I have done several of the all-inclusive, resort vacations at other Caribbean destinations and, although those vacations are nice, they often leave me wanting to learn more about the people and history of the island. The all-inclusive, resort vacation gives only small glimpses of the island life and culture. A vacation at On Top of the World Villa allows one to really be fully immersed in the Jamaican culture. The main tourist attractions along the north coast are a short drive away and readily available if they are on your list of things to do. However, with help from the driver, Lawrence, I would strongly suggest finding some spots “off the beaten path”. There are countless road-side shops or relatively unknown beaches that offer a wonderful look into life on the island of Jamaica. Even stops at the local grocery store and open market in Port Maria to help the cook, Charmaine, pick out meals for the week was an experience you’d never get on a “resort” vacation. The villa amenities are excellent with comfortable king beds in large bedrooms, clean bathrooms, spacious living room and kitchen, and a large veranda with a spectacular view! The staff is very helpful and always accommodating. Lawrence, the driver, was easy to schedule with and very knowledgeable when we had questions about the people and history of the island. The villa owner, Keith, was very easy to reach and was quick to respond to questions regarding booking and travel. If you are looking for a vacation to really experience what Jamaica has to offer, this is the place for you! I look forward to my next stay at On Top of the World Villa!

My 1st vacation in Jamaica
There's not enough space on this review to describe how wonderful my vacation at this villa was. Our driver, Lawrence was the sweetest person ever. He took us everywhere. Literally! He introduced us to so many wonderful people. I can't wait to see him again next yr. Tashae, the villa manager, was super sweet and very patient. She was there to greet us every morning with fresh coffee already made. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed and made sure that we were comfortable. Jody and her sweet little girl, Lawranelle were also very sweet. She made sure our laundry was washed and always had it folded neatly on our beds in our rooms. That totally spoiled me. And I'm such a sucker for kids, so I couldn't wait to see Lawranelle when she came from school. Charmaine was like long lost family. She prepared meals that was so good, I didn't want to leave the villa at the end of my stay. She prepared everything fresh and even cooked a little extra for us so that we could have leftovers for lunch the next day. Lawrence and the ladies even spent time with us after hours just so we could all get to know each other and unwind after a long day. My friends and I will for sure be back next year. This villa was truly home away from home. The pictures really don't do this place any justice. It's twice as big than what the pictures show and the veranda and the view is just breathtaking! The master bathroom & bedroom was huge and so was the hallway bathroom and half bath. All of the bedrooms were super spacious and plenty of room for large families/groups. The owner of this villa is very helpful and answered everyone of my emails and messages. Thanks to Keith and his staff for making our 1st trip outside of the United States the best ever! See you all next year!

The Jamaican Experience
Travelling to Jamaica for my first time and pregnant at 5 months in a party of six adults, this property and the staff went above and beyond my expectations. The property has ample living space and beautiful views. The property has 4 bedrooms (3 king beds and 2 twins) and 2.5 baths. It’s not for those who are looking for a resort-like vacation. But if you want to experience local culture and cuisine, this is the property for you. Keith (the owner) has been very easy to deal with. He answered all my questions before hand. On the day of my arrival, we were delayed by a snow storm in the US. Keith communicated this to his staff. Once we got out of the airport, Lawrence was right outside waiting for us. From there on, we knew we knew we were in good hands. The staff at the property was what made the trip so special. Tashae, the property manager, is sweet and caring. She always made sure she we were comfortable. Charmaine, the chef, made us dinner and breakfast. The staff took us to the market so that we would not be ripped off. Lawrence, the driver, is a local celebrity. He knew someone everywhere we went. He took us to less touristy places and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and safe. We never felt unsafe because one of the staff would always be with us. On our last night, the staff made a bonfire for us and we enjoyed their company. They all have a great sense of humor so we loved having them around. I can go on and on about the staff. If you are going to Jamaica and want a real Jamaican experience, I would highly recommend Top of the World villa.

Perfect Family Retreat
My family and I enjoyed our stay as we vacationed at On Top Of the World! The location in perfect, it’s off the beaten path, quiet, serene, picturesque and a nice distance from the in-laws (smile). All of the staff we were in contact with are all well rounded and can handle any situation that occurs. We loved the house it’s airy, spacious and accommodated my family nicely. It was a pleasure dealing with the Owner Keith as he kept the communication lines open throughout the vacation process and followed up with us afterwards as well which showed care for his clients. The décor of the house is simple yet elegant (just right). I will certainly recommend to family, friends, colleagues and certainly look forward to staying On Top of the World again in the future on my next visit to Jamaica. Thanks for a great stay

FAMILY HOLIDAY
Stayed at the villa for a 3 week period over Christmas & New Year. Villa is spacious and fulfilled our needs to allow us to have our extended family staying with us for part of our holiday. The staff at the Villa is exceptional. Any questions asked by us, anything we wanted was catered for. Lawrence the driver was very helpful with anything from directions, to finding the best exchange rates, best beaches, local entertainment, even discounts for grocery shopping! Tash with helping to find local taxis, manicures, hair-dressers and everyday questions...... Charmain, with all the wonderful food she cooked for us during our stay. we really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next visit!

Epic Family vacation
We had a wonderful time! Ann Marie was a perfect host. Her cooking was fabulous, and everyone loved it. She was good about communicating with us often and making sure our expectations were met. Always pleasant, answered all our questions, very respectful and caring. Lawrence, however, was the one who really made our trip amazing. He showed us much of the real Jamaica, outside of the tourist stuff. He helped us understand local customs, really got to know us and what we liked and made recommendations that were perfect for us. He was with us every day, and was always honest, watching out for our safety, laughing and joking with us, helping us understand the people and what their lives are like. We felt like we made a real friend in Lawrence. The house is wonderful, it was perfect for our extended family who don’t get to spend much time together to relax and enjoy each other’s company. It isn’t for the resort-type, but for those of us who want to experience more of the local community, it’s a very nice place. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Jamaican Paradise!
What a lovely place away from the crowds and resorts... just the quiet singing of the frogs at night, and the flicker of the fireflies in the trees. We visited a Jamaican resort many years ago and this week at On Top of The World villa gave us a much more authentic experience we felt. The acomadations: WOW - Fantastic! The view was surely one of God's grandest. The villa's manager/cook, AnnMarie, was flexible in attending to our needs and her food rivaled any restaurant on the island. Mikey, their driver was fun and personable, and went out of his way to help us out. The villa was made extra special by the people employed there.
