"My 2 sisters and I stayed here while in Port Jefferson. The house was a perfect fit for the three of us and walkable to everything in town. The house is historic so the only issue was the air conditioning had to be kept at a high temp. We stayed at the end of May so it wasn’t too bad and we kept windows open but I imagine summertime may be an issue. It would’ve been nice to have a clean sponge, dishwasher pods in the kitchen. There was also a mish mash of pots and pans , plates etc. and stuffed drawers full of random utensils. We didn’t do much cooking so it didn’t become an issue. We would have enjoyed the outdoor porch but it needed a good cleaning. We would definitely come back though. Communication between the owners was great and easy check in and out. They were very accommodating and kind."
