"Old but comfortable place, in a very quiet street. I stayed in a standard double room (No.21), which was spacious and clean. Be aware that the heating only comes on in the evening, though. There's private parking, although I arrived and departed by train; Crosshill station is only six or seven minutes' walk away, with regular services to and from the city centre. Although there are no facilities other than a kettle, tea and coffee in the room, there are plenty of shops, cafés and takeaways...

"The excellent comfort of this guest house enhanced our stay in Glasgow. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the choices were extensive. The only thing I would change is to book a room with ensuite next time. It was only a short walk to the bathroom however the sink in our room did a gurgling sound for about 10 mins after being used. Not great when you are trying to get off to sleep 😪 "

"This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended"
