"The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside...

"Nancy and Greg have turned the loft above the garage into a cozy getaway with all the comforts of home. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meal. They were responsive to all our questions and needs. If you are wanting some peace and tranquility, I would highly recommend this lakeside loft."

"The Aux Box was an amazing secluded place to get away from the city for a few days and relax in a hot tub in the middle of the forest. Would absolutely recommend and love to be back"

"The children enjoyed their time at the cottage. There's enough activities for everyone to do (kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat. They also have firepit where you can roast marshmallows. The property has an ample space to play freebies, badminton, volleyball and basketball. The cottage is a little outdated but it is spacious. Our overall experience was great. Ali was great too..We will go back to this property again.."

"Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles"

"The place was spotless and the location was great. Unfortunately, the mattresses for the bunk beds were thin so my daughter didn’t sleep very well. There were a few other small things that could be improved such as replacing the toaster with one that works and fixing the toilet paper holder in the bathroom.But the host was responsive when I messaged that the door entry code didn’t come through."

It was immaculate when we arrived and we were very pleased with how well stocked everything was. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans, dinnerware and utensils. "Amy was wonderful host and ambassador for the Port Carling/Muskoka area making some great suggestions as to sights to see. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus!. Any hicups we had were quickly addressed and corrected. One of the best features was sitting on the large dock with a refreshment in hand and watching the antique boats cruising by, all in all a great location for a relaxing holiday, thank you Amy, "

We ventured out a little bit (to Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery as well as Crossroads restaurant), but looked forward to returning to use the hot-tub and sauna just as much!The location right on the water is amazing, and it is very private which is exactly what we wanted.
