"Clean and simple, away from the crowds and costs of St. Moritz. Memory foam mattresses were a plus! Hot water wasn't super consistent, but it's an old building and not near any of the villages, so that's not surprising. The room was quite hot when we entered, as the radiator had been set to the max. Level 1-2 is plenty for rooms of this size, and it will take quite some time to cool down unless the windows are opened. "

"I had a 2-night stay in the hostel part of the building. There is a hotel/inn and a hostel with the same entrance, reception and shared facilities. A bus/train travelcard for the Engadin valley is included in the room rate. The bar area is nice and they do a range of snacks like sandwiches and pizzas. "We stayed for 4 nights while tobaggening in the region. We didn't know anything about Monstein and we were so pleasantly surprised! It is the most beautiful and quaint mountain village. Everyone in the town is so friendly.
