"Room was clean and bathroom recently updated. Hotel is older but was fine for a couple nights. AC worked well which is a must in Texas."

"It is located around a lot of businesses but not in the best part of town when it gets dark. Haven't had any problems, but hear a lot of sirens from the room."

"We had a two day work trip in Llano. Our stay at Riverhouse was great. It was much better than driving an hour to a chain hotel. Plus, Riverhouse was a short two block walk to Cooper’s BBQ. I will stay here again if I have a job in the area."

"Such a great experience! The view from the rockers on the front porch is fantastic, not a lake front but a perfect hill country view, filled with hills, cardinals, doves and hummingbirds as well as a flock of wild turkey. The cottage itself is so comfy, the bed adjustable, fully stocked with a wide variety of breakfast foods and snacks. The bathroom is roomy. My only caution is if you have limited mobility, the path to the cabin is rocky and not level but the 3 stairs up to the cabin has a nice railing. I so enjoyed by stay!"
