"This little gem is amazing! We booked it for a last minute stay when we found ourselves in the area and it was getting late and we were tired of driving. What a pleasant surprise! Petit bémol, j’avais la chambre 301 qui est proche de la chaufferie donc j’avais un bruit de fond de ronronnement mais avec mes boules quies j’ai néanmoins bien dormi. A savoir qu’on m’avait mis dans cette chambre comme j’avais demandé à avoir une vue sur le parking pour mon véhicule. Et malgré le fait d’avoir mis le thermostat au max je n’avais pas particulièrement une bonne sensation de chaleur; mais on n’y est malgré tout très bien et la propreté sur place m’a permis de me sentir tout de suite bien dans ma chambre."

"My fiancee and I only stayed one night at Chateau de La Riviere, and I wish we had stayed longer. Communications with Alice, one of our hosts, were clear and easy. Upon arrival, we were told that we were the only ones staying that night! This made it feel like a fairy tale - a chateau all to ourselves! The historical flavor of the property made us feel like we were back in the 17th century. We were served an excellent multi-course meal by Chef Carole, who not only prepped and prepared our meal, but personally served it to us. Upon our departure, we were offered a private tour of the Chateau by the owner. The owners, their new puppy, and sweet dog were lovely hosts. They provided a custom and unforgettable 24 hours. We will return. Merci for everything! "
