"Great hotel in a great location. However, there are a few weird things that Americans will find very unusual one is they do not accept Apple Pay (when even the street vendors in Brazil do). Second it’s probably the worst Wi-Fi in a hotel I have ever used in Brazil. They probably don’t even try to improve it so if you work remote do not rely on the Wi-Fi. It’s absolutely hideous. "When you first pull up, the hotel doesn't look all that attractive. The front desk people are very friendly. If you know Portuguese it helps. They do have one or two people that speak broken English. The rooms were more than I expected for the hotel. They had air conditioning and a safe in the room which was nice. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled with a nice sized shower and tile all around. My only complaint about the shower was we could never really get any actual hot...

"Hotel is more family oriented and economic friendly. The staff is 10/10 and had many options to eat (all inclusive bf, lunch and dinner). The only issue was that the rooms could have been upgraded. For the price we paid, it is a real bargain. But I can see how people can not give it 5 stars. Kids running around, outdated bathroom and loud music until 10pm are not for everyone but they were fine for us. Gym could be a lot better. It was in a 10x15 room with outdated machines."
