The not so good is the swimming pool that room was not warm and water not so hot especially when outside was snowing. The dinner was the other thing. "Characterful but basic Chalet hotel. Perfect base for walking. The owner was a fantastic host - he explained the evening meal (local produce, excellent and cooked by his wife) in great detail.He also explained the available wines and, of course, the history of Chatreause. As we were leaving the next morning, he insisted we drive to the end of the valley before we continued South - wow! It was really worth it with stunning mountain scenery."

Hotel room was large but the ensuite was behind a sliding door so unfortunately you can hear and smell everything that is coming from the toilet!
