The location and the views were great, It was very comfortable, well equipped and absolutely spotless. The washer and dryer was a nice addition as we had been travelling for numerous days. "What a great little farmhouse! Absolutely everything that we needed was available, well stocked! Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Private location - had a nice visit from a squirrel and some deer! Loved all the wood furniture details. The wood stove was so cozy, was all setup for us when we arrived. "Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. The house itself sits across from a beautiful body of water and we spent a great deal of time on the porch just taking it all in. The host was extra kind, thoughtful, and communicative. We cannot wait to go back!"

We loved watching the eagles and other birds from the deck or from the cozy window seat overlooking the water! We would definitely love to visit again!"

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"
