The neighborhood

The town of Pollença is located in the north of Mallorca, in the foothills of the beautiful Tramuntana mountains. It is one of the oldest in Mallorca and has spectacular landscapes such as Formentor, the San Vicente Creek, the Ternelles Valley, the King's Castle or the “Puig de Maria” monastery.

Inside the town there are very interesting places to visit and admire, such as Calvary, the municipal painting museum, the cloister of Santo Domingo, where the famous international music festivals are celebrated, the Roman bridge, interesting churches and buildings or the cosmopolitan Plaza Major with countless restaurants and bars.

Pollença is rich in old festive events and long tradition. "La Patrona" with its spectacular simulation of "Moors and Christians", - the second busiest party in the Balearic Islands-, that of San Antonio with its famous climb to the pine, the procession of the "Devallament" in Holy Week, the traditional fairs and the well-known international music festivals in the cloister of Santo Domingo.

Lovely rustic villa
We enjoyed a great holiday at Can Verga in August. Fabulous pool and lounge area, peaceful villa in rural location. Not too far from the gorgeous Pollensa old town. A couple of the rooms were a bit tired and could do with being updated but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The owners also have a great pizza restaurant in town that I would recommend - the food was yummy!

Peaceful and relaxing
The property is set in a rural area though not too far from the nearest resort, it is a quiet and a relaxing setting and a car is a must, the supermarket we used was a five or so minutes drive away and the nearest resorts just a few minutes drive too. We loved the villa and the gardens and the large pool which was regularly maintained, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the barbeque was well used, apart from the lack of a/c though every bedroom had a large fan the place is great. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for this villa will not disappoint. 4.5/5

Lovely house and great pool, in beautiful surroundings
We loved our few days at this property. The pool is great, and the garden is beautiful and big! The house had everything we needed (maybe a pool net for cleaning the pool would be a handy addition) and we would definitely go back. We had a car and travelled around the area a bit - Pollenca town and Port de Pollença were both lovely in their different ways. The Sunday morning market in Pollença was amazing and we picked up a few locally made bargains! We are a family with older teens, and for us it was an ideal property. Cati was great at communicating with us throughout the reservation process and after, and the 12 noon checkout on the last day was really handy as we had a late flight home. In summary, it’s great!

Nice property with potential for improvement
The villa is very nice and quiet. You feel right at home. Everything you need is there and you can spend wonderful days and evenings there. Getting there: Unfortunately you can only get to the villa using the coordinates, all other information leads to nearby but different places. Cleanliness: At the beginning everything was clean. Unfortunately, the towels were only changed once a week (2x according to the advertisement), the bed linen was not changed at all (1x according to the advertisement). Unfortunately we didn't like that. Comfort: Mosquito nets and air conditioning would be appropriate. Despite mosquito repellent, our baby was completely bitten during the night.

Family break
We stayed for a week at Easter when the weather was mild (19oC). The house itself was clean, kitchen is very modern, plenty of space inside and out. The house was a little chilly in the evening, but I guess that’s because it was early April. Location is quiet, on the outskirts of Pollenca, easy access to surrounding areas but you would need a car. The pool is a great size and also quite deep, so not ideal for very young children. My youngest is 1.1m and was too deep for him to stand. Older children loved it. There was outdoor cooking/bbq facilities available, we didn’t use these. Overall lovely holiday home on a beautiful part of the island.

Family Holiday
The property was a good size and in a nice area. The pool and garden are great and even in late October the whole family enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable. We did have some big storms and issues with leaks in the bedroom and bathroom.

Casa con piscina cerca de Pollensa
Hemos estado muy a gusto en la casa. Necesitas coche para todo. La entrada es a traves de una caja con un codigo, nos hubiera gustado haber conocido a la dueña. De vez en cuando olía como a fosa séptica, y no sabeos la razòn. Se atascò el baño sin haber hecho nada y tuvimos que utilizar el otro. La piscina una gozada, fué lo mejor de la casa. La parrilla también. Muhas hormigas en la cocina y mosquitos a la noche.

Baleares un peu à l'écart de la foule.
Tres belle piscine et superbe verger, à l'ecart de la foule mais facilement accessible. Maison fonctionnelle. On peut seulement regretter l'absence de climatisation, notamment dans la chambre au sud ouest.

Perfect!
Mooi, groot en schoon huis. Er was een prachtige tuin die heel goed bijgehouden werd. Onze kindjes van 0 en 2 vonden het zwembad fantastisch. De ligging was rustig, maar binnen 10 minuten was je met de auto op de boulevard van port Pollensa of Alcudia. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep prettig, op onze berichten werd snel gereageerd. We hebben echt genoten!

Havre de paix dans un cadre nature et montagne
Maison impeccable à notre arrivée avec les lits faits. L’extérieur est très agréable avec un jardin fruitier et une vue sur les montagnes. Nous étions début mai et avons pu profiter de la piscine qui était fraiche mais agréable. Les salles de bain et chambres sont fonctionnelles, nous avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin. La ville de Pollença est tout proche avec des commerces alimentaires très bien. Environnement très calme (sauf le coq à côté). Bonne communication avec les propriétaires, nous avons eu un soucis avec des abeilles et ils sont tout de suite intervenus.

Mit dem Objekt waren wir im großen und ganzen zufrieden. Es wäre schön wenn man an den Fenstern einfache Fliegengitter anbringen könnte. Es war unmöglich nachts und tagsüber ein Fenster zu öffnen da die Stechmücken zu dieser Jahreszeit wohl sehr viel vorkommen. Auch draussen sitzen war fast unmöglich ohne komplett verstochen zu werden. Aber dafür kann der Vermieter ja nichts.....

Schöner Urlaub
Haus und Garten sind sehr großzügig. Eins der Bäder ist sehr modern, das andere ( noch)nicht, aber trotzdem funktionstüchtig. Wir hatten anfangs Probleme mit dem Abfluss und den Warmwasser. Das wurde aber nach 24 Stunden behoben. Auf dem Nachbarngrundstücken gibt es einige Hühner/ Hähne, die mich persönlich aber nicht gestört/ geweckt haben. Das Trinkwasser hat einen Eigengeschmack und im Flur plätschert ständig die Zisterne. Das hört man auch im angrenzenden Schlafzimmer wenn man nicht die Tür nachts schließt. Der ist super und die Küche ist super modern und groß

Formidable!
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Cati. Elle est bien équipée, fonctionnelle et a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes, avec le super plus du verger et ses oranges succulentes. La piscine a été bien entretenue, très discrètement. Notre groupe d'amis est vraiment ravi et nous vous recommandons cette maison.

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil
Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub. Die Finca hält nicht nur was versprochen wird, es ist noch viel schöner. Wir haben Orangen direkt vom Baum gepflückt und die Tage wirklich genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat hervorragend geklappt, wir haben sogar eine Flasche Wein und Oliven als Willkommensgruß vorgefunden. Die Räume waren sauber und gepflegt, die Küche gut ausgestattet und der Pool stand im Mittelpunkt unseres Urlaubs. Lediglich der etwas unangenehme Geruch in den Schlafräumen hat uns gestört. Trotzdem würden wir dieses wunderschöne Feriendomizil jederzeit wieder mieten.

Good outdoors house not much inside
The property was clean and nice, kitchen new., rooms and baths were ok, but not AC, if you carch a hot week you will sweat all night long. The best part is the garden and the pool. The villa is isolated and we suffer for that has one day we didnt have water and was not a nice experience… The bbq is also very good but there are not tools to work and it is a real mess when you want to use with a fork of the kitchen…taking in account that in the kitchen the cutlery is counted, so if you fill up the house be ready to wash minimum twice per day. Location is good and very quite with no disturbance at nights.
