"The property was perfect for me as I needed to be close to the hospital which was within walking distance to this location. Not really close to anything else but there was a few good restaurants around . I felt really safe at this apartment. They also have a great pool and BBQ area if are there in the summer ."

"This was a great place to spend Thanksgiving! The host was so responsive to all of my questions. I messed up the booking and Dan fixed it up for us no problem. The condo was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook onsite. Beds were good. Shower was amazing. This was an overall great stay. Thanks Dan!"

"This is a very well-stocked and comfortable place to stay, and the owner does a fantastic job of communicating and answering questions. My only critique is that it would be nice to have more than one key and fob so that we could leave the building in separate groups without worrying about how to get back in. Also, a remote for the garage door opener would be highly convenient but isn't strictly necessary. "

This rental is not “charming”, it’s very very old & not well-cared of; the stairs to the property in the back (which is the way you are instructed to enter) are treacherous. There isn’t lighting outside to maneuver the stairs and I’m sure they aren’t up to code. You’re met with a hanging chain that hits you in the head upon opening the back entry way door. The main floor toilet had been used and was not clean. There were bugs throughout...

Our kids and grandson were coming in from KC and Idaho, so we needed a larger home with room for gathering and celebrating our own little Christmas as well. We were pleasantly surprised by The Cove and would recommend! Safe neighborhood, relaxing atmosphere and proximity to Ames, Ankeny and DM areas!"
