Mon Choisy beach was within easy walking distance and the bus stops are even closer with cheap fares and easy access to Grand Baie and beyond. There are also several restaurants/cafes within walking distance. "

"Excellent! Just left the ravenala following 5 night stay. We had no compliants at all. We stayed in the adult zone where you get your own bean bag loungers on the beach. The room was very clean, housekeeping are incredible. Each day the room was spotless and care taken with items in the room. Huge thanks to the staff at the boat house - well equipped, highly knowledgeable and happy to go out and teach. Their english is very good too. The added options of glassbottom tour was excellent. Food was good and plenty of options. Yes there are a few - maybe 3 stray dogs on the beach but they do not bother you and the staff look after them and feed them. Well worth a stay and would go back again! Fabulous sunsets as well. "
