It had everything we needed and the hosts were so amazing, Di was away while we stayed but her communication leading up to stay and even during when she was overseas was excellent and Billy was so welcoming and helpful while we were there making sure we had the best time. The house was perfect for our family and great for young children (we have a 2 year old) with enclosed deck and able to keep them on the top level. We will definitely be back,...

"Our stay was amazing, we had everything we needed and did not want to leave the property. The beautiful deck opens up onto the estuary where you can hop in the kayaks at high tide or sit at the jetty with your morning coffee. The house had everything we needed to cook, have a bbq and play some games and cards around the table. Straight across the road you can swim in the ocean with stunning farmland, mangroves, and views beyond. We would happily book again for another stay. "

"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook.
