This place was really nice; quiet area, great location, and even the grounds themselves were nice. Easy process for checking in and out too. Overall great time. "

"Once I figured out how gwt into the room after a couple of helpful calls to the owner, I was very pleased with how well "equipped" it was, the room(s) had everything I needed even if I just wanted to stay in."

"We had the best time at Cypress House. Very cute place with many amenities to support time at the beach. Centrally located to everything. The beach is right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic and Bill was so great to talk to. Even though they had a death in the family while we were there they had a backup plan and we were still well cared for. We will be back! "

"They gave our second room away because they over booked. Gave us a late check out to “make up for it” then proceeded to bang on our door and yell at us for not leaving at check out. "

"Loved this property in the heart of Manteo!! We spent a lot of time walking which is exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway. Very charming and when it rained the breezeway was a cozy alternative to umbrellas! We enjoyed this place very much, highly recommend!!"

"We recently enjoyed a fantastic family vacation with our two teenagers at this hotel. The location is perfect, just steps away from the ocean, and the apartment was spacious and well-appointed. The beach was stunning and pleasantly uncrowded, making it a peaceful retreat. Our kids even got up early twice to watch the sunrise (yes, teenagers!). The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook some meals and save money. The facility also has an indoor pool and a hot tub, which I made good use...

"We have stayed here a few times before. This past Sunday we had a fire alarm at 645 am. We all exited and were able to catch breakfast at our favorite local spot. Check out Stack Em High MP9! About an hour later when we arrived back, the front desk gave us a new set of key cards to get back in our room. You couldn't tell there was ever an issue. "
