"I enjoyed my 3 night stay at this property. The room was spacious and had plenty of closet space. It was nice to have a kitchen and dining area in the room. I wished it had a shared rooftop terrace though. "

"The property is an easy drive from Florence , located in beautiful surroundings with the rolling hills of Tuscany all around. We were able to explore Siena & multiple small centuries old towns. A car is a must here to go anywhere including Impruneta.The lodging is ample size for a family of 4 or 5. Loved that Mattia has a washer available for laundry. Mattia was a great host , made wonderful suggestions on places to go & was super easy to work with. Would recommend. Teri W from KY USA"

"It was a perfect home base for my husband and I for daytripping around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, and a welcome break from staying at a hotel. The town is close to the property, and an easy stop for breakfast and coffee on our way to other destinations. Unfortunately it was raining most of the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the exterior as we had hoped.Note to others: the street to the farmhouse is not paved and there are many potholes, so drive slowly and carefully!"

"The house is picture perfect - and the views are absolutely stunning. As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. "The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!"

"• Pros: Beautiful grounds, garden and hot tub; dishwasher was greatly appreciated, lovely views, excellent Instructions to reach the village. Cons: • Internet/cell connectivity in village is poor and upon arrival, couldn’t connect with cell phone OR my portable wifi. I couldn’t reach the owners, and had no photos to identify the house was ours, and instructions were incomplete. Had to knock on doors which was awkward. • Password for the wifi is wrong. Passwords are case-sensitive! This wasted a...

"We loved this property- very well equipped, lovely pool and great views. And, only a few minutes walk into the village with lovely bars restaurants and shops. A perfect location. The only thing that might cause an issue for some ( not for us) , is that the third bedroom is a mezzanine floor within the second bedroom with a very steep staircase. The only access to the bathroom from these rooms is either through the main bedroom or through the patio door and around the outside of the property. ...

"The primary reason for not recommending this property is due to our dealings with the host but there are other issues with the property. As has been said by other reviewers this property is very cluttered with very little space for renters to put any of their own things. The appliances are old, much of the china is chipped and we ended up buying our own pans rather than use the old aluminium ones in the property! "We felt a bit misled by the listing. It wasn’t disclosed that WiFi was sporadic at best; nonexistent at worst. The delightful “living room” with the “fireplace” shown in the photos, was in a detached building, completely unusable in March. We also had a 100 weekly fuel charge that wasn’t disclosed. But the view from the patio over the Tuscan Hills was spectacular, especially as Spring arrived. DO have Serena cook dinner for you! She is a treasure! 100 for"

The host is absolutely amazing and extremely sweet and was able to accommodate our every need. The landscape was serene, and the home was perfect for our party of three with bedrooms on opposite ends for privacy."

"Staff were great on reception. Property was neat and tidy and the park was all very clean and well maintained. Everything on site cost extra and a lot. For example half a loo roll provided and they wouldn’t replace and it cost €8 in their shop. Location was good just out of city and there is a bus stop right outside. Not properties fault of course, but buses very irregular so a lot of time spent waiting around for one to show up. Lovely walk into city along river though and took around 1hr."

"One great restaurant for dinner, no lunch options. Maybe a small snack bar would be great for us without a vehicle. At pre-season mid April. Sadly No gym until later in the season with the pool. Otherwise beautiful and worth the stay!"

"Great property! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hit all the check boxes. 5 minute walk from the train station, right next to plenty of shopping and dining options and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Modern conveniences, wonderful shower, comfortable bed and kind staff. They also had an iron I was able to borrow which was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend! "

"From the moment we saw the hotel across the plaza to the moment we checked out and ran to our train, we loved the Grand Hotel Baglioni. The reception staff was wonderful! The gentlemen that helped us the most were Sr Bonarino who checked us in and gave us great transit advice for one of our unique stops, and Sr Francesco, who took our bags right up to our room for us and said hello to us each time we passed in the hallways. The room itself was marvelous! We will absolutely be returning to this establishment in the future. It is in a magnificent location, relatively close to everything downtown, safe, clean, beautiful, and friendly. The premises and staff surpassed our wildest dreams and gave us a very memorable stay in the already memorable Firenze."
