"Quaint 7-bedroom villa/hotel in the middle of Tuscany with close approximation to Raddi, a great little town with shops and good restaurants and gelato! "This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. "What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - in short we could fault our stay at Castello di Volpaia."

"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. "Beautifully maintained property . Very good value "

"Great property! LOVED the setting, in the middle of fields and countryside. You definitely need a car but it’s a very convenient drive to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. The property is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. The accommodations are in an old building so it comes with the quirkiness of it like noisy plumbing lol. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful property in the heart of Tuscany. We would have added a second night, but the property booked full while we were sleeping. Property was only recently added to Expedia, so don't let the low number of reviews make you nervous. We almost did. Glad we double checked another site and saw hundreds of happy reviews. Enjoy!"

"The location and service were amazing. We had a problem the first night with a room that smelled like sewage. They had no other room with 2 beds available although they offered us a room with a bed and sofa. The next night we were moved to a new room and given a free breakfast. I would stay here again in the "old" building, since the "new" building had the smell issue."
