"Overall the stay was good and relaxing. The beach is not as portrayed, it was grubby and overcrowded, the sea was clean clear water. The food choices at both breakfast and dinner were varied and good, however hot options were never hot at best tepid. The bar was very good, but the music was very loud and not to everyone’s taste; it was difficult to sit quietly and read or hold a conversation. The pool area was excellent and the spa was good . "The most stunning property with beautiful views. The staff is kind and very accommodating. The breakfast spread was wonderful and the restaurant was excellent for dinner - fairly priced for fine dining experience. Parking available on site, and staff speaks English. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay that we would highly recommend. "

"We had problems with the AC and couldn't sleep well. However, the next day the manager moved us to a much better room. Although there were no activities for kids (most of the clients were families traveling with kids), the hotel was clean, well-maintained, and new. The food was really good, and the server Simone was so helpful and friendly that it made our stay incredible!"

"We originally booked for one night at this great value Masseria en-route to our final destination, but after one night we decided to stay another. Our hosts could not have made us feel more welcome, both on arrival during our meal and after breakfast the following morning. They truly made us feel at home, and having opted to stay half board on our first evening, we also enjoyed a great value tasty home cooked meal. "E’ una struttura nuova, luminosa . La camera e’ molto spaziosa e l’aria condizionata funzionava molto bene, con cassaforte , televisione e frigo per le bevande . Per il resto non ci sono altri servizi , a parte la reception e la sala colazioni , dove vengono serviti ottimi dolci . Ahimè non hanno niente di salato , il che è una pecca secondo me . "We can’t recommend this historic and beautiful place enough! Everything was unbelievable beautiful and thought through (the pictures don’t even do justice) The owner and staff was the most friendly we experienced throughout our travels in Italy and the service was top. Having homemade limoncello and fruit/greens directly from the garden for dinner was amazing! We already look forward to visit again! "

"Set in a quiet rural location surrounded by olive groves and trullis, the villa is ideally located for sightseeing. There is a very nice pool area and tennis courts . We stayed in a chalet in the grounds. There was plenty of space but the shower cabinet was very cramped and awkward. Galatina, a fifteen minute drive away, is an interesting town with beautiful buildings and we had a really good meal in Gallatone, another easily accessible town."

"Amazing private and independent spacious rooms, super comfortable bed, spotless and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The property is well maintained, quiet and just beautiful. However, you do need a car to get there and around. Angelo and his wife were amazing hosts, prepared delicious homemade sweet and savory breakfasts every morning. I highly recommend attending the dinner they organize once a week. Overall one of the best stays we’ve had, will definitely come back again "

La piscina bella e grande, unica pecca che é completamente e perennemente esposta al sole cocente. Non c é animazione alcuna. Poco personale unico competente sig. Nuccio. Spiaggia piú vicina deludente. Per le spiagge attrezzate e a pagamento bisogna aggiungere dai 150 ai 200€ a minimo 3/4 km di distanza. "

"Absolutely loved our stay in Castro, the apartment was extremely comfortable, clean &typically Italian. We loved sitting outside to enjoy the sea view and ambience of the area. Castro is a beautiful town and located within easy reach of Brindisi or Bari Airports with easy to reach other towns. Lovely restaurants & views. Our hosts were welcoming. Would recommend."

Enjoyable Stay!

"From check-in until check-out, the staff at this property were amazing, professional and exhibited exceptional hospitality! I’d like to give special attention to Marco and Ludovica, who answered my many questions, helped with transportation and set me up with what I feel is the best room at the hotel (105)! The incredible view, 2-door corner balcony and cleanliness of the room made my stay that much more enjoyable. There were many great dining options close by and the expansive, inviting beach was only a 5 minute walk away. Be mindful that in the off-season, local buses are not in service, so transportation to and from this neighborhood will take extra planning. Grazie mille!!! "
