"Nice large house. Was a little cool inside but not too bad. Has a train track beside it but the trains went by during daylight hours."

"Fulfilled our needs. Cool house."

"We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"

"We traveled from Philadelphia to Bland for a family funeral and this house was the perfect home away from home. It is very comfortable and well stocked with all we needed. The setting was peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen window provided a lovely view of the sunrise over the mountains. The location was amazing. Very close to the AT and other great hiking and biking. "Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested...

"This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. "Jack's place was perfect for our weekend get away! Plenty of space for all of us and it was nice to have two bathrooms. Plenty of parking- three trucks and 2 trailors. "

"Eight of us stayed at this property with their own base for skiing and tubing at Winterplace. Commute there was easy and the home has everything you need for comfort. Plenty of room for our party of eight without feeling like we were on top of each other. Sonya was very responsive and has wonderful welcoming touches throughout the home!
