"Hotel Rec was perfect for our 4 night stay in Barcelona. It is only a few moments from Arc de Triomf (monument and Metro line) and handy for the V19 bus up to Parc Guell or the beach in the other direction. The rooms were clean, modern and had everything you need. We asked for some more milk and coffee and it soon arrived. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Oliver and Alex, who were particularly helpful. The lounge upstairs was really nice with outdoor seating, which we used a couple of times (it was only March). There was a good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel has numerous excellent restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the city. "

"Excellent bed and pillows. Restaurant across road bypass. Orbital bar better food but no restaurant on site. Normally hotels near railway stations are terrible. This one is excellent."
