"The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. "The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. "

"Not only is this townhome located ideally for scenic views & a great skiing experience, but the decor & amenities are amazing! The owner has gone to great lengths to make sure her guests have every supply, the kitchen has excellent cookware, the additional soft blankets are cuddle worthy, & the furniture is exquisite down to the lamps & wall decor.We can’t wait to return!"

"Everything was as pictured and listed. The area is beautiful and the cabin setting was fantastic with the stream running under the cabin. It was well stocked and we had a great 3 days even though it rained every day. The management was great helping us with a couple of minor issues and even brought new gas tanks for the grill before dinner. We will have this cabin on our list for another trip."

It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! "We were all settled in (after a couple hiccups) and ready to enjoy our week when Helene high jacked our getaway. We were watching the river rise from the windows and knew the worst was yet to come, so we made the decision to cut our stay short.
