"It’s a tired hotel and definitely understaffed but the food options were always great and the location is unmatched. It is located in the quieter Playa Langosta but still close enough to Tamarindo for some outings."

"Loved this place just from the beginning you literally fell like a star and since we entered until we left Christian the manager took care of us very well Just that the staff at the bar next to the swimming pool (in front of the spa) was a bit rude All the remaining staff was amazing be it in the restaurants or in the spa or the reception I would definitely return and take my whole family to it "

"This was a bucket list trip for my husband and myself and lt exceeded our expectations! The food, staff, and resort were amazing. Now the room was top tier! It was expensive but worth every $. "We loved our staying at Riu Guanacaste. The hotel was in a nice location. They have monkeys right next to the hotel and the beach was very nice. The staff was amazing and the food was very good, they have a wide variety of options at the buffet, the only thing I would say is that the other restaurants are a little difficult to book because you have to make a line before they open to get a spot. The road to get to it needs to be paved. Im glad that they will be updating this hotel because it needs it, but I will say that I loved everything about it. The entertainment crew is really great. I will definitely recommend people to stay here and I will definitely come back again. Pura Vida! "
