Great location and pool
Communication was excellent between the owner, manager and myself. Penthouse is in a great location in Playa del Carmen, just off of 5th ave, and within walking distance of restaurants, and grocery stores. Bed were super comfortable, and there were blackout blinds for all rooms. We enjoyed our stay.

Lilian and her team did a wonderful job setting us up with everything that we needed! The penthouse is beautiful and perfectly located near so many wonderful restaurants! Just footage from a private beach. Couldn’t ask for much more!! Will definitely be back soon!!

Family Friendly Spring Break - Perfection
Finding great places for our family of 7 can be challenging. The property was beautiful. The pool area is great for all ages; different depth pools to serve up sun for all. A quick walk to tons of shops and great dining. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lilian was fantastic and a great help during our stay and after when we became stranded from cancelled flights. A beautiful and safe location for families.

Fantastic stay in playa de Carmen
We had a great spring break week staying at the elements. The unit is beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 6. The pool is perfect, very large and not crowded at all. The beach club is very convenient to have right there. Neighborhood was very fun to walk around - plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The host Ann was very easy to work with. Lilian the concierge was so helpful and kind in setting up activities for the week and great advice for our week in PDC. Thank you so much for our great week!!

The property was great just what we wanted from a family getaway. The weather wasn’t great so watching Christmas tv in the sitting area with the family was perfectly cozy. The kids enjoyed having their own space and it was nice to have an adult area away from the. Kids.

Excellent property. Close to all the amenities but not too close to be noisy. Beach club in walking distance. Apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer in unit made life very easy. Check in process was very smooth and property manager was available to answer questions we had. Overall, outstanding experience.

Great Location
Our group was 13-65 in ages...Great ammenities, small beach for any playtime, but the pool and beach club made up for that. Our host Lillian did a great job at communicating and helped us with all of our excursions. Pool was beautiful and very comfortable loiunge chairs! This is an older community that we enjoyed with minimal kiddos. Definitely do the cave snorkeling! Night life was only 10-20 minute walk. We felt very safe!

Clean & Spacious
Our party of 7 had plenty of room in this clean & spacious rental. Kitchen was well equipped & we had plenty of towels for both bathroom & beach use. Within waking distance to 5th & many great places to eat. Beach area was a little smaller than anticipated but was clean & well maintained. Beach bar a huge plus ran by friendly staff. Security is also taken very seriously. Lillian the concierge is more than helpful & was always quick to respond. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting PDC.

Great Experience
This was our first stay at The Elements. It was a great experience. Our condo was lovely. The owner was great to work with. Our concierge, Lillian was also great to work with. The staff was very helpful. We particularly enjoyed Edwardo, Ana, Engel,and Damian.The beach bar is a great amenity. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. We loved the area. It’s full of great restaurants. We enjoyed meeting so many other people staying at The Elements. We made some new friends.

Great Condo - Very Clean, Private, and Enjoyable
We had a great time in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We opted not to stay in a traditional resort and instead rent through VRBO - we are beyond thrilled with this decision. The condo was very clean, well stocked, felt safe, and was super family-friendly. We ordered food and grocery deliveries through a local app. The Elements has a low-key vibe that allowed us to relax. The kids loved the pool and had a great time swimming. Renting the condo allowed us to walk to local shops and restaurants easily. If you want the best of both worlds, I recommend private rentals coupled with resort day passes. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Amazing Family Holiday
We just returned to Canada after our 12 day stay in this 2 level penthouse condo. Travelled with my husband, 2 young boys and my parents. We all had plenty of space in the condo and it had everything we needed! The host of the property was wonderful to deal with and the assigned concierge service that we received even before we arrived was wonderful. The grounds and pool area were very well kept, clean and secure. Best part is having the private beach for condo residence only. Had a wonderful Super Bowl party on the beach with 2 big screens and food! Only thing we all wished was that the pool was slightly heated. We could only hop in to cool off and then had to get out. Thanks again!!

Perfect condo and Lillian is the best!
We loved our stay here! The condo was clean, well stocked and just perfect! Great location and it's right next to a police station if that matters to anyone. Also right next to a great Italian place: Salento(Great pizza!). Pool was perfect as well. The best part was working with Lillian. I don't think I've ever had such great service! We had a few minor things break like the dryer knob and the pool pump and Lillian took care of them immediately and was in constant contact. She also checked in regularly, sent restaurant recommendations and even took care of all the transportation arrangements we needed. We had one of the kids get an ear infection and asked her about local doctors and she immediately sent us all the info we needed and checked back to make sure we were good. It was just so nice to have someone there to help us while in a foreign country! I could honestly go on and on about her great service!

Beautiful condo with all comforts of home
We had a great time in Playa for spring break 2023! The condo was very clean, and had just about every amenity we needed for the week. There is a 7 Eleven and a pharmacy right across the street from the condo, which we used, as well as tourist police outpost. We felt very safe. Popular 5th Ave was just a 12 min walk away with lots of shopping, and many restaurants. Ann Marie and the concierge Lilian were both great and very responsive. One note about the property: the private beach is pretty small and crowded, and the water is not ideal for swimming right there. You will want to walk down the beach a little ways if you want to swim. In the private beach-area, we did appreciate the food and beverage stand.

Great location for girls trip!
We are a group of women (of a certain age) that enjoys getting away and relaxing during an annual trip between Christmas and New Years. This is the second stay in this condo complex and we really like the location of this building. Close enough to 5th Ave restaurants, yet not too close to be noisy. We love the small private beach and the pool, it is nice to have both options as some like a beach and some don't. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, so met all of our expectations. The owner was responsive from beginning of booking to the end. A couple of notes...the wifi doesn't really work. When we asked to have it looked at, someone from condo maintenance came to fix, but it didn't really ever work. Very spotty, and only if you were sitting in a certain place in the main room....They said they were going to be upgrading the router, but that never happened during our stay. In addition, we asked for a DVD player, and they couldn't get that to work either. So, overall those were somewhat minor things, but something to consider if you are in need of those amenities. Overall, I would recommend this condo and owner to others!

Lilian, the concierge, is fantastic. She helped with requests for an amazing home cooked meal with a chef, birthday cupcakes for my daughter and airport transportation. She was quick to answer all of my messages. We would have given a better review if so many maintenance issues had not occurred during our stay and the owner would have corrected the inconvenience. -air conditioner went out over night -ceiling leaked water all over an open suitcase of clean clothes -main toilet did not work -the condo turned off all our water over night and did not turn on until 11am and did not tell us Everything was fixed quickly, but it really felt like one thing after another. The owner and Lilian offered an apology but no offer for discount for the inconvenience. I asked for a discount days ago and after much back and forth the owner offered a nominal amount of $200. This was days ago and there has been refund to my account at this time.

We had a wonderful time at the condo and didn't have to think about anything, which means nothing went wrong : ) The perfect kind of vacation. Lillian was our point person and she was fantastic, always ready to help in any way from questions about the condo to organizing tours and rides. She is a gem. going from past experiences in Playa her and her team go above and beyond which is appreciated. The condo was well equipped and comfortable for our family of 5. It is nestled in the middle of the complex which actually makes it more quiet than some of the units closer to the beach clubs. We felt extremely safe, there was always someone present in the front for any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The Penthouse was bigger than we expected and came fully equipped. My kiddos enjoyed the board games and had a blast at the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lilian did an amazing job , she had our groceries delivered and in the fridge by the time we were there. Made our vacation so much easier she’s truly an Angel!

Fabulous Penthouse
We truly enjoyed this penthouse condo!! We have 4 kids and it was so spacious- especially for us adults with the primary bedroom on the second level. The balcony jacuzzi was a big hit too! Great views, and really close to pool and beach!! Unfortunately for us, there happened to be A LOT of seaweed in the water and on the beach, and they were doing their best to clean up the beach, but the water was pretty gross at times. That seemed to be the case everywhere around the area though. Luckily, we booked a few other adventures that didn’t just include the beach (booked through the VRBO people) and those tours were great fun!!! We all had a wonderful time, especially the kids, and I highly recommend that. Overall, great location, walkable to many restaurants and shopping, and easy communication with the managers. You won’t regret choosing this property!!
