Had the worst experience ever at this "hotel", after booking a room for two on the same day, we get there late at night and first we got told theres no room available, then after arguing with the hotel staff for half hr (they barely speak any English) they tell us yes they have a room but we have to give them 200$ cash and a passport (after we alredy paid thru hotels.com) because they couldn't verify the booking or whatever they were trying to tell us in Spanish, even tho I send them emails with confirmation numbers and payment details right there as we were speaking. I called the website customers service and after a good hr and getting really tired and fed up with the situation we finally got it sort it out and got our room.
Hotel staff was extremely rude, unlike all the places Ive ever been in Mexico, where people are more than friendly, the next day there was someone else at the desk who was actually nice and apologized for the inconvenience the night before, still I would not raccomand staying at this hotel, also room was old and smelly and shower didnt have hot water, but that wasnt an issue considering its Mexico and it was very warm outside, another issue was the noise in the hall at any hour and on the street. We paid an outrageous $160 dollars for a 1 star hotel, probably the worst hotel experience in my life! Thank God the rest of the trip was epic!
I wouldnt raccomand staying here to my worst enemy...
