What I don’t like is that after 9 pm there was no water. I tried to contact the hotel but never got an answer back. Bedsheets were stained. What I did like is that it was close to everything.

This is a classic old style Mexican hotel. The bright colours, authentic tiling, & interior was pleasing. You can stay at a mc-resort and not know what country you are in. Not here. Must like Mexican music blaring, have patience with low water pressure, and the occasional smell from plumbing. Located off 5th avenue where people congregate. Food in the area is diverse and good. 5 mins walk to Maritsa beach which has a sandy bottom.

Ghostly reservation!
The hotel did not have my reservation! Blamed the system. Gave me a smaller unit than what I had reserved through your site, and paid slightly more.

On checkin we found a somewhat accommodating reception by the manager who ended up moving us to the building next door. At the time I was impressed as the building next door was much nicer than the Alma and Mar building. From there it kind of went downhill. They only provide one key and they have almost no reception presence. We ended up getting locked out of the hotel late at night when I had to leave the key with my son in the room. I called the building. Their response was “wait until another guest comes and then sneak in the door behind them.” After 40 minutes I ended up having to do just that. Second issue: There was NO internet in the room and not only did my daily reminders of that fact to hotel staff go unanswered, the manager actually started yelling at me on the third day of my request. I know. First world problems right? lol anyway. I pushed my flight back a day but I decided it was more pleasant to pay more money at another hotel AND repack AND move hotels AND unpack again rather than extend my stay for a single night. that pretty much says it all.

Mir wurde per WhatsApp mitgeteilt wo der Schlüssel ist und alles weitere, da das hotel keine 24 Stunden Rezeption hat (nur ca 3 Stunden am Nachmittag war jemand im Hotel). Das Hotel liegt direkt an der 5th Avenue trotzdem ist es im Verhältnis ruhig. 4 Minuten bis zum Strand. Zimmer sind groß und mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und kleiner Elektro-Kochplatte ausgestattet. Zimmerreinigung nur auf Anfrage, die Besitzerin ist per WhatsApp immer zu erreichen, den Pool hab ich nicht gefunden. War 6 Tage dort, würde wieder kommen.

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado y los espacio son agradables, es decir es bonito el lugar. Solo que hay muchas escalera que subir. Otro aspecto que destacar es que solo una de la habitaciónes tiene clima. En la otra solo hay ventilador. No tuvimos problemas con otras cosa y la chica que nos atendió, Michelle fue amable y dispuesta a ayudar. A pesar de que una habitación tenía solo ventilador si se refrescaba con el clima de la habitación principal. Otro aspecto es que tiene cocineta. Lo que si faltaba era una olla para calentar agua. Y no estaría mal que dejarán un trapito y un sácate para lavar trastes. Otro aspecto importante es que está ubicado en la quinta avenida y es una sona de mucha algarabía y ruido. Del lado del balcón se oye mucho el ruido, si no tienes problemas con esto, está muy bien. Los camas bien, solo que son firmes, los blancos bien. Y te dejan las llaves para que entres y salgas a la hora que sea.

A grandes rasgos esta bien el lugar, pero no cuenta con estacionamiento el cual tienes que estacionarte en la calle y tanto tienes que pagar por él como el riesgo de que le pase algo a tu auto. Un pequeño detalle que ocurrió, es que en la zona del baño habia hormigas pequeñitas, que si bien no hacian nada si era algo incomodo que no pudoeras dejar tus articulos de aseo personal ahi. A favor del lugar, es que tiene un desayuno continental incluido, el restaurantes esta cerca del lugar y la verdad aunque no es una porcion muy grande, si quedas satisfecho para iniciar tu dia, ademas de la atencion buenisima tanto en el hotel como en el restaurante.
