"We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down. The shower was functional but showed signs of damage to the faucet handle and a bit of mold. "Host was very good with communicating up front. House was all decked out for Halloween. Very comfortable and accessible once we found it. Getting to parking area was tricky because of roadwork going on. Had trouble finding address and driveway way challenging. Cute town."

"The bathrooms needs renovation especially the toilets are very old. It would be much better if not only 6 person can stay like 8 or 10 so even two families can be there and split the cost. We really enjoyed the view and the hut tub. Driving to Yosemite takes 1,5 hour due to traffic at the entrance. "

What a great stay!

"Absolutely loved this adorable little inn! We were in room 9, on the backside of the house where they have check-in. Don’t let the idea of it being Mariposa’s oldest hotel scare you away - it has been updated, with much of its vintage charm left intact. Perfect location for walking to the cute little shops and restaurants downtown. My only reason for doing a “4” for “condition” was that the room’s door was a little hard to close, plus lugging suitcases up/down the wet patio steps was cumbersome. I would stay at this quaint little inn again in a heartbeat."
