This was the perfect location for hitting all the state parks in this corner of MN. "We had a very nice stay at the Big River Inn! The unit looked just like the photos. The location is great; you can walk to numerous places to eat or grab a beer. There are museums, places to hike, and so much scenic beauty close by. The hosts were great with their communication. The only downside (as others have noted) is that you will hear trains here, although they seem quieter at night. "

"We stayed with are son who has cancer and was there for surgery. Stairs were so steep and dark. Shower base leaked in the corner. No water pressure. Kitchen is a walkway connecting bedrooms. Dorm size fridge. Tried reporting a man sleeping in his truck outside our door. Took 24 hours for host to do anything. They stated he was in apartment below us. Later that day notice he was back sleeping in his truck where he stayed for the next 2 days. We ended up leave 2 days early and staying at a hotel...

"We love our trips to the Wabasha area but, have struggled to find a peaceful, relaxing and quiet atmosphere with all the amenities of home; until now! What a gem of a loft! So impressed with this property; we will be booking again for our next stay. The location is absolutely perfect 🙌 so much within a comfortable walking distance. "This was a great location in relation to the Mayo. I wish you would do something about the steps up to the unit. The gutter over the bottom step leaks and drips on that bottom step. It froze over night and when I went out the next morning I slipped on that step. I was able to catch myself but someone else might not. It was adequate for our needs. The landlord was very receptive to our needs. One last thing was the TV is not hooked up to anything so it was of no use. Overall for the price it was...
