"We enjoyed a lovely week in this apartment. It comfortably accommodated 6 adults and is ideally located for Dona Lola and the boardwalk. The beach is just 200 yards, it was quiet and peaceful. When we had a small problem with the air conditioning in one room, the host was very helpful and responsive."

"If you’re expecting hotel chic, this property is not for you. If you love traditional Spanish with lots of of quirks then you will definitely love this place! Beautiful old building in a very central area just minutes from all the attractions. Lovely spacious rooftop terrace, and although it could do with some TLC, it’s perfect to relax with a drink at the end of the evening. Beware though, the spiral steps up to the terrace are not for the faint hearted and definitely not for children or anyone...

"What a wonderful stay we had in La Cala de Mijas. The home was just as beautiful as in the pictures...and larger than I thought. We had wonderful dinners and mornings at the outside patio. The pool was wonderful for those hot afternoons during siesta. Loved the town and all its ammenities...beach only a 10-12 minute walk away. "The property is very run down. It would be lovey if upgraded. The property was not clean, we spent time cleaning so we could use certain areas. Also kitchen very ill-equipped. And finally missing bedroom remote control for air conditioning which was very uncomfortable. A shame. We want refund on cleaning thank you."

"We stayed at this villa from October 1-7 2024. Tanja and Miguel could not have been more welcoming or gracious. The property is fantastic. It is equipped with everything you might need. It is comfortable and beautiful. I hated to leave it, honestly. We could have happily stayed much longer if I didn't have to go back to work! Moreover, the weather gods smiled on us and it was hot and sunny every day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"We had a lovely time here in July. Communication with the host was very responsive and check in was easy despite arriving at 2am due to a delayed flight. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is air con in the living room and upstairs bedroom. It has a very nice terrace outside which is shaded. Parking is easy and it is a 10 minute drive to the beach. The pool is a few minutes walk away but is lovely and quiet most of the time. We would definitely recommend a stay here but you definitely...

"Great apartment in a great location, which was quiet and walkable for all main sites and train station. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The roof terrace was a great addition, with a free drink a bonus. Shame the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy this more. The only things that could be improved was the seating area in our apartment, the small sofa was not enough for the apartment of up to 4 people. Also the size of towels could be improved. "
