Blue Creek Resort is nestled in the heart of Pike County, Illinois - known to many as the Whitetail Deer hunting capital of the world. Whether you choose to drive in or fly in to the local airport, Blue Creek is just minutes away.

Added in 2023 - Pickleball! The tennis and basketball courts now have pickleball for you to enjoy. We have some generic paddles but encourage you to bring your own rackets if you are a seasoned player.

If you enjoy hunting and would like to have an experience in Pike County, please give us a call. Blue Creek's farm can comfortably accommodate up to 4 hunters at one time. We also have guests who hunt other farms in the area, but would like to bring extended family and take advantage of the private time away. Blue Creek Resort is perfect for you!
Whatever the time of year, or your heart's desire, Blue Creek Resort is calling and we would love to host you!

As you enter the resort, you may be greeted by one of the many deer who visit, or a flock of turkeys on their way to somewhere. Kids and adults, alike, enjoy the full basketball court, and regulation tennis court. If sports is not your game, you may want to take a nice stroll through the woods, or travel to Lake Pittsfield a short 2 mile drive where you can fish. This is a beautiful area for you to cast a reel, or simply sit and enjoy the wilderness that surrounds you.

In the summer and warmer months of the year, the 20x56 pool is open for your pleasure. Many guests enjoy sitting under the pavilion watching a baseball game while the kids swim. You may also wish to turn off the TV and turn on the outside stereo system. The lights on the courts will allow you to play games long after darkness has arrived.

There are so many amenities that come with the property, but the best Blue Creek Resort has to offer is the peace and serenity of your own private oasis. While you are a guest at Blue Creek, the entire resort belongs to you.
It is the perfect setting for a small venue wedding, family reunion, or informal business gathering. There is plenty of space surrounding the outdoor recreation area perfect for a small gathering.

What a fun house!
We loved our weekend at Blue Creek! Between shooting hoops, pickle ball, and swimming in the great pool, this place is as fun as it gets! The hosts were great!

Awesome place!
We had a great vacation here! There were plenty of activities for all of the kids ranging from 3-23. One of the things we liked best was the covered area by the pool, it was always being used. The tennis court was a bonus & it was nice you could see it from the pool area. Our whole family enjoyed it & we would defiantly come back!

Our family was very impressed with everything at this beautiful resort. The room to spread out, the games and the quiet setting were awesome. And the pool was great! Family Get Away
This was the perfect place for our 10th annual four generation family reunion. The house and property were beautiful and just perfect for our weekend. I love that all of the outdoor activities were centrally located so my 98 year old grandma could be a part of everything going on with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Amazing property!

We had a fantastic stay. Plenty of space for our large group. The pool and tennis courts were a big hits, and amazingly, no problem with mosquitoes. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, and the common areas were delightful spots for congregating. We definitely recommend this property and we plan to visit again!

Amazing property for large groups.
There were 17 of us— from 1 y/o to preschool to elementary to high school, parents and grandparents. We could have easily had way more people in real beds. Everyone had a ball. Great family time.

Beautiful property. The owner was one of the best hosts we have ever worked with. The property had anything you could need. We took our kids and grandkids. Even had an aunt and uncle come by as well as my brother and his family for the day. Just what the doctor ordered for this old man!

We love Blue Creek for our church annual getaway!
Our church small group has come to Blue Creek for 3 years now for a little weekend getaway. Becky and David have been so accommodating and prompt in responding! We had a wonderful stay, and the house was just as we remembered, with a few upgrades, even! We cook all our meals in the kitchen, and it basically has everything you need! There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and lots to do. We enjoyed pickleball, pool, swimming, and playing board games. Thank you for having us again!

College Friends Gathering
What a fabulous setup for a college friend reunion! Twenty-two sorority sisters from around the country had a great time at this spacious house! We had our own version of "Olympics" using the garage games, lounged around the pool, learned how to play pickleball, and took and epic sunset photo in front of the fountain. Highly recommend for a large group!

Enjoyable Family Vacation
We just returned from our second trip to Blue Creek Resort. We are a multi-generational family of 25+. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the outdoor entertainment area is so great!! Pool is huge and warm. Sports court is fun and nicely lit up at night. Huge yard to throw a ball around, etc. Some of the beds definitely need updating but other than that we loved our stay! Hope to be back again next year!

Becky and David were fabulous to work with as we prepared for our family reunion at Blue Creek Resort. Very accommodating and quick to respond. The property is lovely. We were blessed with perfect weather that allowed us to take full advantage of the incredible outdoor space. Swimming, basketball, tennis and more. A lovely, secluded spot for our family reunion. Remote location with plenty of fun stuff for the kids
We had a great time at the Blue Creek Resort. We had 6 adults and 6 kids, and didn't even use all of the bedrooms. It has tons of space, a nice well equipped kitchen and the outdoor sports court and pool complex are incredible. We also had fun walking the trails and fishing the pond, which was about a 5 minute walk through the woods. It was exactly what we were looking for. The kids were a little disappointed that they couldn't get the pinball or pool table to work, but that didn't take away from our experience overall. Highly recommended.

Great stay!
Our group of four families with kids had a great stay. Outdoor space was perfect. Clean and warm pool, lots of games and activities for kids. We had everything we needed to cook and have meals together. Extra refrigerators and ice maker were useful. We liked the privacy of not having neighbors. We could play music and swim in the evenings. Rooms were clean and we had enough bedding and towels for everyone. Would be nice to have more towel hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms. Overall, there was enough space for 16 of us and everyone had a great stay!

Beautiful home with plenty to do
This is a spacious home and property with plenty of amenities to keep everyone in your party happy. For those that like sports, there is a full size tennis court and basketball court with lights so you can play well into the evening. Then you can cool off in the salt water pool. There is also lights around the pool area so you can swim well into the evening. There is plenty to do inside as well should the weather not cooperate. There are board games, movies, pool table and even a pinball machine. If you like to explore the outdoors, there are a few trails you can take with one leading to a pond. While there is a dock at the pond it is in need of some repairs before you're able to fish from it. There is no cell sevice at the property and wifi is very slow. When you get more than 3 people connected its non-existent. We were actually happy about that because the kids weren't in their phones at all. Our only true complaint was there were some things inside and outside the home that were in need of repair and unfortunately we were charged for a couple items that we didnt damage. We've stayed at many rental locations and this was the first that didnt provide a check-in sheet to identify problems with the property. On check-out we identified everything we discovered including the items they said we damaged. I sent several emails to the owners disputing their findings but never received a response.
