The setting in the middle of the mountains was a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and a great place to retreat after busy days touring around the Amalfi Coast. "This is a beautiful winery in the hills of Tramonti. Maria and Alfredo Basileo are very friendly and provide great service and meals. The apartment was spacious with a nice bathtub/ shower. "Beautiful sea views from balcony, really nice family, I had the most amazing gnocchi ever, however food is pricy which was a surprise during a check out because the owner insist to pay later and later. Prices were not listed on the menu. So if you want to avoid surprises ask for the prices. Breakfast is good but very limited options. Free parking is a great comfort. Unfortunately my room wasn’t cleaned once during 5 days stay. "

"We cannot say enough about del Sole. We were picked up from the bus and brought to the property. There we were offered lemonade and they sat with us to explain the area. The views were beautiful. It is an easy walk to the town square and easy access to the bus. We liked how it was a quiet reprieve from the tourist areas. The food was excellent. Breakfast included everything you could possibly want to get your day started and dinner was excellent. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and the food here...

"We had a super three nights stay and the property had everything we needed. It was hot when we were there (heatwave), so we had to keep windows open overnight. Barking dogs from a distance away, so unavoidable, although annoying. Quite typical in rural Italy though. Owners friend, Monica, spoke very good English, sobwe had no problem communicating. Great find!"
