"The host, Edi, is a delight. Gave us a warm welcome and introduction to the city. He indicated great place to eat/grocery shop, all in walking distance; as well as touristic recommendations. We were able to leave our luggage in the gated courtyard until our departure. This establishment receives our highest recommendation."

"We enjoyed our stay. Our host did not speak much English, but we managed to get by by using hand gestures. The property was conveniently located on the main road, as a result, it can be noisy with passing cars when we opened the windows. If the windows could open out, it would have been an added bonus as the view from the flat looks directly onto one of the gates to the City wall. Overall, it was a comfortable stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at Villa Anica. It was about a 15 minute walk down to the old city (although be prepared for some uphill to get back. The accommodation was good. The bed is soft as I prefer it with a sheet and blanket as opposed to a duvet. The air conditioning worked well, the bathroom is spacious, and the building common areas and garden are beautiful. "My wife and I are in agreement that we have never stayed in nor will we ever find another vacation property that clean. Not a speck of dirt or mold to be found. Sheets, blankets, glasses, bathrooms impeccably clean. The location is steps from the busy Pile Gate, yet it's quiet at the property. The pictures do not do the terrace views justice. Absolutely stunning!"

"The property was extremely well kept. It was close enough to Old Town and in a great location. The contact was extremely responsive and provided great information that made accessing the property super easy. The only complaint, if any, is that the bathroom is very tight. Not a real problem for us, however those that want a little more space may be a little disappointed with the bathroom. Overall I give our stays 4.5/5 stars. "

"The location is perfect - just by the old town (but not in it, meaning its more calm and quiet) and with an incredible view out the window. The apartment is small but we did not need anything more for our stay. Neno was a fantastic host, meeting us for our late arrival and giving us lots of tips for Dubrovnik. Highly recommend if in need of a great base to explore Dubrovnik from. "

"C'étais le pire séjour que j'ai passé dans ma vie. On avais réservé le même jour car on a eu une urgence et on a payé 318 euros pour deux nuit, deux personnes. On arrive et le monsieur nous dit qu'il avais pas de place et qu'il allais nous envoyer dans un autre hotel, donc que on a du se déplacer avec nous valise dans un autre hostal on comprenais rien. On arrive et la premier chose qu'on a vu après avoir rentrer dans la chambre c'étais un cafard sous le lit, les toilettes étaient dégelasse,...

"This is a beautiful home with a lot of history. We were a group of 10 and were very comfortable with plenty of room. Only a 15 min walk to Old Town, a swimming spot right across the street ( a lot of stairs). Easy Uber stop two doors up by the bus stop/ flower shop. Eci the house manager was a lovely woman and always available if needed. I would highly recommend signing up for this one!!"

"Truly perfect location within the city walls. Short walk with luggage, so that was no an issue. The property itself has only stairs, no elevator, but that was once again, not an issue. Recommendation - because the location is phenomenal, make sure to walk the walls as soon as they open. Wonderful property. "
